ADT is a criminal company who offers promotions when keep trying to call to cancel your account and when you agree because they say that you wont owe any money even if you decide to pick another company. They will take back the promotion and stick you the bill and even charge your bank after youve taken off all of your banking information and kept trying to call them to resolve the issue. Illogical process of requiring a "verbal password" to do anything. I am trying to cancel service but they refuse to allow anything to be changed, even though I have the email, phone number, contract ect. Not even banks make you jump through as many hoops.

I have been trying to cancel my service (that I've had for over 5 years). First was because my glass break alarm battery warning kept coming up. I tried to call to tell them I could not locate such a device.... but after holding for 45 minutes, they told me I needed to be at home with the device for them to help. horrible service when you want to cancel services. very poor customer service. we were forged to sign a contract without being given specific terms / conditions. that way they locked ** in a 5 year contract and there is no possible way to cancel services without extremely high cancellation fees.I spent more than 10 hours trying to cancel services unsuccessfully.
I called July 12 2023 to cancel. They said cancelation would take affect 30 days after which would have been August 11 2023. I was still charged for the service on August 28 2023. I called. The guy said he was requesting a refund for the charge since he could see I called July 12 2023 to cancel but for some reason it didn't actually cancel. September comes around and it says I have another bill due September 28 2023 even though it should have been canceled July 12 2023. APPALING customer service. Cheap, faulty equipment. Terrible response time. They lock you into a multi year contract, then Will Not let you cancel your service, even after the contract is up. Do not use this company. I promise that you will regret it
The worst company imaginable. Charge My Wife s debit card $2000 without authorization how to dispute that charge with our bank which *************** fixed. Then charged three more unauthorized charges to my wifes cards then one to my card. **************** is an absolute nightmare atrocious. I cancelled my service with ADT, and they keep charging me the monthly payment, they won't leave you alone, they call you almost every day. I've got to call them again about charging me, they said it was taken care of, I should have listened to my friend who told me don't use them.
