They lie by using third party then its next to impossible to cancel and after you cancel they continue to bill you under false pretenses which the entire company seems to operate
I was trying to cancel my services after the completion of my contract. I could not cancel. They made it so hard. There customer service is worse. They keep forwarding my calls to different departments until someone disconnects my call. After 2 and half hours and an extra charge of one month even though my contacts is already completed I was able to close the account. This is a daylight robbery. Cooperate policies to make people more poorer and cooperations richer in this difficult times.
Zero stars!!!! I purchased my house in 2021 had an ADT rep come out to install. I signed the contract with him on a tablet. Later that day he left cancel the contract out. ADT is a poorly run company which is so customer unfriendly. I have been a customer of them for 7 years but I am trying to cancel the service because of relocation. They make process of cancellation so complicated (only can cancel by phone and their lines have 2-3 h waiting time). ******** care is literally non existent. Just pass the buck to another department who seem to know nothing about what I am trying to accomplish. Am surprised they are still in business with such a lousy business ethics
ADT has the worst customer service. In the beginning it was my fault that I had signed up with a 3rd party due to them representing themselves as though they were an ADT employee. After I contacted ADT and they stated because I signed a 3 year contract I would have to pay a large sum to get out of the contract. So I decided to stay on a little longer. ADT is a scam!!!! My brother bought a subscription for service. The installer came out and took over 8 hours to install a few window alarms. The installer told my brother he would be back with the security cameras and more window alarms. That installer never contacted my brother again! My brother waited 2 weeks and no contact from original installer! My brother then contacted ADT to end subscription. I canceled my contract because I moved and I do not like the way they do business with the fees I had to pay This company is horrible to do business with I don't recommend anyone to do get a alarm system with them they are a greedy company and they should be shut down
I live in Hurley, New York. have been trying to get help on their customer service line for months and everybody says they are transferring me and I don't get helped by anyone. It's been months of this. I asked someone to come to the home to install the box of equipment sent to me and they never came. So the customer service number either hangs up on me or someone answers and transfers me to someone else. My name is ******* *. I need to return this box of equipment and I need a shipping label. That is all I need!!!!!
This company scams people! They said you get a rebate of 100 **** when you sign up but they never have! Once you sign you cant get ahold of anyone!!!!! They charged us for a replacement sensor when we cancelled the same day but of course they cant find anything showing it was cancelled! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
