I called for a quote, salesperson scheduled an unauthorized installation. *** spent 7+ hours, talking to 14 people trying to cancel. No one has authority to cancel & they transfer to someone else with no authority. Frustrated hardly describes my situation. A supervisor finally assured me it was cancelled. Received texts from 2 different ADT employees yesterday asking if I still wanted the installation. ADT is a bad company. We were very excited to purchase a smart security system from them. Once we were set up, that was it. Now we have had 2 things malfunction on our system and typically waiting times are 30min or more. If you want someone to come out it's at least 75 an hour and the camera for the front has to be charged every other day. Our camera fell because it comes off every other day to be charged and now we can't use it also if we did, the image is bad and goes to our email. I am a disabled veteran with Parkinsons disease, and I feel I was taken advantage of by my disability! I had one person on the phone look over the house on the account of the previous owners and she said all we had to do was put it into my name so I made an appointment and the cost would be $70 a month. The technician came out and said good news. Its only gonna be $55 a month and all I need is this adapter because it was an older system and they didnt have it on the trucks. If I could give zero stars, I would. If you have questions regarding your account, be prepared to hold minimum a hour and a half. Then when you get in touch with someone, they just completely lie. I just signed up with them and it has been lies from the quoting process. I want to cancel and would like to do it during my trial period but they always seem to keep you waiting. Probably so youll miss your time frame and be stuck in a contract. Ive been trying for a week to get some help and it is absolutely useless. I will never... read more

ADT is one of the most shady companies I have ever worked with in my life.We were sold a security system through SafeStreet with a contract and apparently the contract and we bought a house recently so we contacted them to move our system and service over. SafeStreet transferred us to ADT for Relocation and the salesman, ***** told us that we have to buy and all new system and start over our 3 month contract because they dont move systems after they are installed into the home. ADT had got to be THE worst security company on the market. Against my better judgement I signed on with them in Nov 2021. By March 2022 my system battery died. I had to pay ***** for them to come fix it. 1 week later the battery died again. I called back they werent able to schedule the visit when I was available. And I didnt have time to call back. I have been paying monthly on time and not even receiving service because I would rather pay to just not deal with ADT at all! But now I have called to have them fix this system... read more

I am having issues with cancellation i have been on the phone for almost 5 hours. They keep transferring me to the wrong agents. Have been 0 help this company is a total waste. Bad business practices as well.

Our system has been experiencing issues for the past year.When I reached out to the support line for assistance, their first approach was always to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. Typically, they would instruct us to reset the system, and while it would work briefly after a reboot, the issue persisted. Scheduling a technician visit over the phone became a challenge; every time I tried, the call would disconnect without any follow-up from their end.
