Im a very unhappy customer. Several things are going wrong with my system. Ive talk to them multiple times and theyve tried to resolve the issues over the phone and that isnt working. I keep telling them I think I need a service call and they will not schedule it without first trying to resolve it over the phone. I tell them Ive already tried that and it didnt work. I have been a customer of ********************** for ** years. I recently tried to cancel my account which they have made deliberately difficult. Also, their website provides many self-service processes for account management they insist that you call to cancel.Therein lies the difficulty. First, it takes a long time to get through to someone at the main number (shocking for a security company.). The person who answered my call directed me to Account ********************. What they claim and what they provide in service are two different things. Do not get sucked into the false sense of security they claim with service and family comfort. If you have any problems with installation, damaged devices or just need to get help logging in or managing your account, do t expect ********************** to help. In less than one year since installation, I've had to call ADT 3 times to diagnose issues with one or more devices. Each time, they have sent out a technician who did _nothing_ to correct a root problem, they either just reset a device so the current error went away temporarily or even worse actually did nothing. Every time, ADT has charged me $60 for the "service call" when the failure is _entirely_ from the original installation or problems with their devices. Adt are manipulators and they don't care about ur safety at all. They just care about taking money from you. They manipulate you to sign the contract with lies and then when u notice u were lied to They won't help you and they say it's on the contract but what was told to you wasn't in contract but they will tell you the lies to get you to sign. They say there relocate is stress free and easy and they are here to help that's all a lie too. They don't care about there customers at all.
ZERO STARS. I called for a return label for unopened equipment, and I was transferred to 10 different people over a period of 2+ hours. No one could transfer me to the right person or department. Everyone seemed inept. Frustrated hardly describes my situation. I would NEVER EVER have ADT. I will always recommend anyone/everyone AGAINST having ADT. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
They ripped me off. All I can say they dont want you to read the contract
I have tried to schedule an appointment to have a technician repair an alarm system over the last eight days. I have talked with 4 representatives and each time they have said a technician will call me within 24 and 48 hours. Unfortunately, they never call. Sadly, the house is not fully alarmed at the moment and the house is vulnerable to a break-in.The lack of service warrants the one star rating.Do not use ADT because the service is unreliable.
ADT is not a customer friendly company. I called in January to cancel my service. Not only was my service not canceled the have charged close to ****** for a service I no longer use. When trying to get this issue resolved for the last week I have gotten the runaround. Call after call and my service still has yet to be canceled, they are ripping off the customer.
