Zero Stars!! I have had it with these people. I have been trying to stop a five year contract for four years. I have lived in my home for almost eleven years. I went with a two year contract. Then I went with a five year contract. That was up four years ago. They keep billing me, and I keep telling them to turn it off. They have agreed that I am not supposed to be paying or getting any service from them on multiple occasions. I received another bill yesterday. I am ready to see my attorney now. CONSUMER BEWARE.. STAY AWAY!! Horrible Customer Service and Inconsistent communication! First, they are a third party company for ADT which is not clear when you sign up. So deceptive! Secondly, we decided less than 3 days no longer wanted system because lack of certain features and scheduled for system to be removed. I properly notified both ADT and Defenders of cancellation. Hi ADT. I've lived in my new home for just under 45 days now in Keller, TX. We put up a no soliciting sign the day we moved in. In that time we have had 4 ADT reps come to our house from the hours of 8am to 9pm at night. Each time I inquire as to why the are soliciting a house that has a posted sign saying NO SOLICITING they give me some smart *** comment back quoting some way they are skirting around the issue. ADT customer service is NOT honest about the terms of the contract and after 30 days your "locked in" the contract for way longer than what customer service tells you and you can't dispute it because it's your word against theirs. I'm completely disappointed at myself for not reading the contract (never doing over the phone contracts again, lesson learned). I'm now locked in a contract for over 2 years. I have been a customer with your company since February 2020. I live in Jacksonville, FL. The system I selected was valued at over $3,000, a substantial investment I only made due to the extensive features marketed to me at the time of purchase. Prior to installation, your service technician, ******* ********** who was wonderful, assured me I was getting a tremendous value, and that the system would function well - to its full potential - in my home. This is the first time I am writing a review for anything. Worst customer service ever! Installation wasn't done correctly on 6/16/20. Rescheduled to correct installation within 2 days, 6/18/20 but tech never show up or call. I called in to reschedule again for 6/20/20 and customer service told me not to worry about the 3 days cancellation since installation wasn't done right the first time. I've been with ADT for to long now. Wish I would have done a review beforehand. I called so many times to have them service equipment THEY set up. Their own equipment . Time after time they had to come to my house not caring that I had to take off of work to wait on them! They sent out several guys several different occasions and never fix the problem. I had one guy stay at my house/ shop for 16 hours to fix a signal REALLY ! That's just so unreal. Then a month later I had the same problem with the radio THEY installed. I ca... read more

I have had the worst experience with ADT. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their salesman will lie to you yelling you one thing and then customer service tells you another. I spoke with 4 different people and every one of them speaks like a robot. They won't answer your question otherwise than what their computer screen tells them to say. I will be canceling my home and business service with them asap. Absolute crooks!
