They make a big deal out of their advertised 6 month guarantee, but it's all a lie. I'm 5 months into my services and my system has had a cellular failure every night for the past week, this isn't the first time this has happened. It's a reoccurring problem so I called to cancel since I am still within my 6 months. They refused to cancel with the guarantee and told me I'd have to pay over $1000 to cancel today. They sent me an unsolicited letter via snail mail with the text: "Attn: New Homeowners Call now and get a $100 Visa© Gift Card from Protect Your Home Call: 844.298.8720" There's no asterisk, no mention of purchasing any product or service. I called and asked for my free $100 visa gift card, but the lady I spoke with would not send the gift card to me. I feel like I was lied to and deceived.

This company is the mafia!!! You pay for perfection you never receive. They know this because they stick you in a three year contract. The camera I have is only charged for 4 hours a day. Heaven forbid someone breaks in. ADT they just call to let me know. They dont call the police.

Adt really screwed us. I had to at least leave one star. In March of 2019 I had enough rewards or points from March '19 to sept. '19 to add service I was told. When arriving to Lake Charles, **** was the representive who told me and sent me a text that I would not have to sign a new contract because I had a previous one they could go off of from the last address giving me enough points. Long story short. Find a better company to monitor ur system and do not sign the 3 year contract. They charge so much money to get out. If you relocate its even more money. The best deal is to stay with a non working system and pay a reduced price of $19.99. Its horrible. Customer service is slow and bad.

I signed a contract with ADT and had equipment installed. I was NEVER able to obtain a permit from local police dept. - which issued all alarm system permits in this area. I applied for the permit according to the police dept. instructions. I never received a permit - therefore I could never activate my system. If I had - without a permit and a call went in to police or fire without that permit, I would have been fined by that authority. The only reason I needed a permit, was for that alarm system. They are deceivers, and thieves. Thy have no integrity nor are they honest and upfront. If anyone is thinking about using this company, DON'T.

It is a shame that BBB has registered this business (ADT). Their business practice, customer support are the worst I have seen and experienced in a long time. Rude and crude people. They fleece the customer and try to have everything according to their terms.You can never trust their answers when you call them because the next time someone else will tell you something else. ADT lacks of credibility and business ethics

I want my money back, called back in March to cancel my account was told it was cancelled. Was instead charged for the next 4 months before after calling 2 more times before it was cancelled and then was told i was going to receive back payment for those months. But nope, everytime its a different story. Super shady and stay away.
