SALES REPRESENTATIVES LIE, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES LIE. YOU ARE PUT ON EXTENDED HOLD AND THEN AFTER A WHILE EITHER THE CALL IS DROPPED OR ANOTHER REP ANSWERS ONLY TO TRANSFER YOU AND/OR TO BE PUT ON HOLD AGAIN. THE REPS TELL YOU IF THE CALL GETS DROPPED THEY WILL CALL YOU RIGHT BACK AND THEY CONFIRM THE CALL BACK NUMBER. So I was doing some research on getting a door bell camera, I found myself on the ADT website and within a few minutes I received a phone call from an ADT sales representative. He was very kind and very good at his job. The redirect of the phone call was if I paid $105 I would get house camera and all indoor sensors with a monthly payment of $10 a month for 6 months and then $50 a month for the rest of my contacts. Company put my contract in someone else's name; a person that I did not know who they were or where they lived. In addition, the company never monitored my system. Took many phone calls, two letters, two visits from company representatives and six months before they agreed to drop my contract. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN GET!!! THE WORST BUSINESS EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! If one can call them a business. ******

Hilarious to read all the bad reviews , I should have known ... I got system installed and hated it after 2 days and requested a full refund like they promise you can do if ur within the 72 hr window. I have been on the phone for a combination of probabably 5 hours total between all the phone calls I've had to make get my refund back . I got a statement after I canceled only to find out my account wasn't canceled then they put a credit on my account instead of just refunding my money, they told me I will get a check in 2 wee... read more

When my equipment was installed, I was very clear about not needing all of the equipment included. I was told that all was included in the bundle and it would be more expensive to purchase the equipment I wanted without the additional pieces I didn't need. I was quoted for the "equipment credit" plus $1,000 of additional equipment including 3 smoke detectors and a second wireless keypad for my 1100 square foot house. Horrific Customer Service. The reason I am reaching out to you, is because I have exhausted all efforts with customer service for Blue by ADT. I purchased $1,000 worth of equipment. There was difficulty setting up, and I contacted Technical Support. There were five phone calls made on Sunday, August 16. The service ranged from really helpful to being told Technical Support was not available on the weekends. Every time time I spoke to someone I was disconnected. This is a scam. Protect your home did not tell me they were a third party company. The whole time I’m on the phone she kept saying she was ADT. I would of never went with them if I knew. After I payed $199 for installation the technician came to my house I brought $350 worth of service only for them to tell me their system is down and they could not install. I requested a refund and they only refunded me the $199 saying they do not see the other amount in their system. I am angry and completely disappointed. Customer service... read more
