ADT is by far the worst experience of my life. The lady on the phone got the address wrong for install. Then the prices ended up being 10x more than the phone quote. Then after agreeing to an amount found out monthly bill was 2x higher. Then they started installing it and didnt leave until 1 am on a Tuesday. So had to take a vacation day so they could come back and finish. We had 3 systems put in 1 at my house, one at sons house, one at daughters house all in a row. A refund of $100.00 to returning customers was handed in such a way as to be missed by telling me it would say Elite Group LLC and a gift canard would be inside. What came today and was almost thrown away was an envelope with no return address showing, no word Elite anywhere, but in tiny print saying Reward Center from a Texas Co. It was from ADT. I think the community should know about this. I recently was hired by Safe Haven, ADT to work as a "relocation manager" for their company. I was told it was base salary, plus commission, I'd be reimbursed gas mileage, obtain a company cell phone and laptop, the days worked would be Mon-Fri and I'd get $1000 per week plus a $750 sign on bonus. I worked there for three weeks, spent $200 of my money for gas alone, no cell phone, laptop, no mileage or gas reimbursment, hours were M-Sat. and when I got my check, it was for $326.0... read more

After being a loyal customer for 4 years, my wife and I decided to opt for a different security provider. When calling to cancel the representative on the phone became very rude and told us that "we must not care about protecting our family" by canceling service and switching to another provider. They use scare tactics and false information about their own services and the services of other providers to get you to stay.

Sold our home 4+ years ago and Protect Your Home (ADT on Collections Report) and this company is still trying to take us for over $1,200 all these years later. Trying to resolve this issue with the collections isn't a picnic either even though the new owner of the home activated the same equipment that was installed when we originally had the system. CRAZY. I am confused ... if a service provider (ADT) fails to deliver a service because their equipment is failing to keep up with telecommunication changes it relies on to function correctly; ie 3g to 4g coverage in my area, and now as a result ATD has to reconfigure the security system to ensure I do not get woken up in the middle of the night by alarms and "103 Comm. Trouble" errors should I as a long term customer paying $67 a month be charged for this service call? I don't think so. In short ... - Terrible customer... read more

Was unhappy with service ad said I had 6months to cancel without being penalized, but the adt rep said I would be charged.

I'm not satisfied with ADT since my installation i had to wait 72 hrs before all my cameras to come on online, an innermetting problem since then. Also their installation company destroyed my personal property.
