Terrible customer service. I've had many issues with them but when I call they are rude and have even hung up on me. The $100 gift card they promise has never come and I guess never will. They have no price sheets so when they come out to install they won't itemize and tell you how much each item costs. I was told I was going to get $1500 of installation equipment for free but that did not happen. I do not recommend this company.
Ordered service, wouldn't work in our area, you'll have your refund in 3 to 5 business days! It's been seven business days and I've still yet to receive a credit they do not stand behind their policies! But they sure take your money early and quick! Shame on you ADT!
I wish there were negative starts. I purchased a business three years ago and signed the contract with them with the existing equipment installed. The previous owner was using them for many years. They are un-professionals, scammers as far as the sales side go, Arrogant, unfair sales tactics, totally disowned their own mistakes, helpline is extremely arrogant. I signed the contract with one of your representatives (**** **) in MAY 2020 and I had told him that I will be leaving the end of the year, he told me is it okay to move the service with me that day. Then, I called yesterday and informed him that we are ready to move on November 8,2020, and he told me the service cannot move to China! And! have to cancel the contract with over $900 penalty!!! This is nonsense and unfair to me!! BTW, I am still within the 6-month guarantee thing.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. This is why they are not taken under ADT because they're customer service is completely ASSS. They read me an authorization, A LAWFUL LEGALLY AUTHORIZATION to only charge me $40.84 they proceeded to charge me $122.52. ******** ***** ** ******** and ******* are the worst customer service people I've every came in contact with. Would not recommend to anyone. They do not disclose everything to you. They do not value you as a customer only your money coming in. Had been a customer for 9 years and try to upgrade to the deal they were offering new customers. Wanted me to shell out alot more money in upgrades and raise the monthly fee. Scam third party company preys on young college students. My son informed them he was only in the house for a year. The very small house already had a security panel. The unsold him on 2500 equipment including 15 shock sensors and a monitoring fee of 60.00 per month and in fine print for 36 months!!! I called but there was nothing they could do. Basically stuck with 5000.00 worth of equipment and monitoring for one year in a rental!!!! This should be criminal
I wish there was no star option .My phone line removed a week back and no one called me what kind of 24hr surveillance is that . I called after one week and cancelled . You pay them for fake sense of security . They put you under 3 yr contract So you can't leave. I got scammed just want to warn everyone else
I had ADT (formerly Brinks) for a total of 20 plus years. The rates continually went up and when it reached $40 a month I decided to cancel. It took over an hour with much argument to cancel. After cancellation my alarm beeps at me every morning at 7:30 am. I called ADT to see how to make that quit. Since the alarm was built into the house by Brinks ADT couldn't help.
