This company lies about it sevice. I was quoted a price of $99.00 but ended up pay $496. They clean out my bank account, so I cancel and was told I will not receive my money back for 3 weedks..what am I supposed to do. I did the cancel with a fax. So I could get it done in the three days I was to do it in..everyone that I contacted was rude to me..I just want my funds..and them to come for there stuff. I have truly learn a lesson. We had no written contract. All arranged by phone. Covid hit and our business failed. ADT refused to budge one inch.... PAY UP was their response. We cancelled the autopay through our bank, but now ADT is hitting our credit . . . All other utilities let us out of our contracts no questions asked. I'd leave them a "zero" star if this site would allow it!

ADT has absolutely no integrity. They switch your contract without warning. When you try and cancel they transfer you to sales in order to change your mind. Even when they tell you they are cancelling your agreement. They do not. You are reminded that you need to give them 30 days notice. Do not deal with these people. By the way their service person *** Estes # XXXXX billed me $25 and left my system completely inoperable.

Disgusting is the only way I can describe adt. Lied to from the moment I called in to start service. The camera doesn't work& I've had over 5 techs come out& waste their time& company dollar. I was told if they came out one more time I would get a full refund, easy. Called in& they said no... we have to have another tech come look at it. Ok jump to today- on hold for an hour& I'm being told the branch has to refund the money& they can't cancel. I'll hear back in a week- they said adt offices have to cancel. I was a customer of ADt/Protection One for 23 1/2 years. The service I received was fine, but I eventually had them automatically take my payment from my checking account each month. I sold my house on July 27, 2020 and called to inform them of this and cancel the service. On Aug. 6th they deducted another payment. I called to tell them of the mistake and to request my refund. ADT has charged my business card $5000.00 this year and won't give a viable response as to what they are charging me for. There customer service has been terrible in my opinion. Do yourself a favor try Brink or Global Security.

The ADT BLUE company is AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!! In summary: 1. The ADT Blue rep who took my initial equipment order over the phone TOOK 2 HOURS in total to complete the in-take transaction, because he kept mis-entering data and therefore asking me to repeat THE SAME name, phone number, service address and shipping address OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER again!!!! 2. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I just got off the phone with customer service and one of the customer service reps began laughing at me! I am about to contact the media over this, it is absolutely disgusting and this rep whose name I did not get should be fired! I disconnected service at my deceased parents' home over a year ago and just received another bill. Nobody can resolve this on the phone for me and the fact a rep just laughed when I demanded answers is unacceptable. Who should I turn to now? Does ADT train its customer service ... read more
