This company is TERRIBLE! I spoke with a rep trying to order a door bell camera. The rep placed my order. My order was shipped out ... Nothing came. I called UPS and asked about my package. They stated that the address that was given to them was incorrect. I called ADT and they put in for another order. AGAIN, they put in the wrong address. I called and spoke with a rep. They sent out another package. I recieved the package, when I open it , its another system that I didn't agree to and they was NO door bell camera. I called... read more

The absolute worst security service out there. I am not safe with it at all. I've called in every month since I've gotten the service. My device goes on and off throughout the night , the app doesn't work properly. My key pad has went out. It is not the most reliable service which is pretty scary for a security device. This is a complete nightmare.

I had service with another company that Brink's acquired. I did not have a contract with them. When my debit card changed I did not renew- service was stopped. Several months later I had a telephone conversation with an employee who noted on my account that I did not have a contract nor was the service provided. This was greater than a year ago. Today, I receive a collection notice from ********* ******** and ****** None of this is legitimate. You cannot charge someone for months of services not provided to my alarm system. ... read more

Their installation is nightmare. I am customer with them for more than 10 years. This happens every time. So I have decided to write a customer review. This might help to make a change in their installation department. They are not on time. They are not completing their task. They don't know anything. They say ADT always there. But I wish it was true. They need to say we hope ADT will be there when you need them.

I signed up for ADT security when I moved in to my new home 10 years ago. I have tried numerous times to cancel this service as I continue to pay for something I do not need anymore. I have been put on hold for hours, when I finally spoke to someone from the billing department she transferred me to another department to cancel which never happened. I was on hold for 1.5 hours! called again to cancel and there has never been anyone answering. I have spent weeks going through this process and it is clear no one will answer to ... read more

I have never been so dissatisfied with a company in my life. I moved into a new residence where there was a old ADT system that I was told could not be removed, no problem. The system began to go off at 2:30am, because it's inactive I didn't know what to do. I called ADT and spoke with a rep by the name of *******. I let her know my issue and she let me know there was a plug that I needed to disconnect that would be in my garage, basement or attic, none of which I have. How is this company an A+ accredited business? I purchased a home that had a previously installed ADT security system and all I'm trying to do is replace the batteries and put the unit back on the wall in a standby mode -- the way it was before I changed the batteries. I've been yelled at, interrupted and hung up on because I'm trying to make a point that my hardware was functioning before the batteries were changed and they are saying it needs an active subscription. This is so bad, I already filed a complaint with the BBB and NJ Attorney General. What a nightmare! I originally called ADT the week of June 22, 2020 to inquire about their alarm services. I was told that all equipment would be free, and I would just have to pay an installation fee upfront, and a monthly service fee. This sounded like a good deal, so I decided to go with it. It's unfathomable that Defenders won't listen to it's employees. Technicians have the best feedback from customers, but Corporate doesn't care. How hard is it to tell customers they HAVE to pay $299 for cameras? How hard is it to tell customers Defenders doesn't carry the Command Panel? How hard is it to tell customers that $27.99 only applies to land line phones? How hard is it to tell customers that there is no Camera package for any less than $58.99?
