****, their system never worked for more than a day. They know this because their failing system shows up on their monitor. They refuse to pick up their equipment and they hang up on me when myself or my husband try to call them. I have only had this system for one month without any resolution. Do NOT fall for their contract and inflated home security cost. I ordered the Ring system online for a 10th of what they are trying to charge me for used broken equipment.

ADT has been charging me two different amounts on a quarterly basis for the last year, to the tune of $900 a year. When I called and told them (and there's been 9 people now), they all so 'ughhhh....that's high'; for monitoring 2 doors of a 1100 sqft loft, I agree....it's super high. I recently purchased my first home and had a representative from ADT contact me after our inspection. At that point I said I am not interested in the service. After closing on our home I was contact again, and repeated the same information. Since moving in I have received countless letters in the mail to get their alarm system. ADT is misleading and misinforming. I installed service for my elderly, ailing mother in her home. I explained to the rep when inquiring of their services, that if my mother passes would the contract be void. I have the reps name, badge # and date I spoke to him. We were advised it would. My mother passed, and now they are billing me for cancelling the 3 year contract early. Since the contract was in my name, I was liable. I wish I could leave negative stars. They are quite possibly the worst company i have ever dealt with. When we signed our contract it was supposed to be for $35 and include use of the app. Somehow they got the price wrong and assured us they would issue a refund and fix the payments. Never got fixed. Our alarm has been faulting for over a month and they want us to pay a tech to come out and fix it? When its their equipment at fault? I have been a 15 year customer for ADT. Until now I have been very happy with the service. I started a major renovated of our home in 2019. I suspended the service which was allowed. However that didn't happen now according to them. I call each time I get an invoice to remind them my account is suspending. When I call I get transferred and the comment I will make a note. LIES - COMPLETE ****. We had an entire security system installed including 5 cameras. Half the time the outdoor cameras didn't work. I was hesitant to sign a 36 month contract so I asked "what if I sell the home? does the cancellation fee apply?" The answer was "No, if you sell the home the cancellation fee DOES NOT APPLY" HE LIED! We sold the home and OF COURSE the cancellation fee applied. TERRIBLE SERVICE, EQUIPMENT THAT BARELY WORKS, HIGH PRICE AND LYING SALESPEOPLE! Do not use ADT.
If u buy this equipment from them make sure you are in it for the long haul. Equipment and camera are useless once you cancel there services.. So before you spend all that money on this service think about it. They don't tell you this when you buy there equipment.
My mother passed away five months after having security system put into her home. ADT charged her for the equipment on a house that's being sold or rented . She didn't cancel the policy she passed away. Had several employees several different times at ADT told me that I would be refunded the $1350 for equipment and that they would have someone come to remove . I had to call again to find out the refund was declined after be told I would be refunded.
