the sales representatives are very misleading and can't be trusted. Once they have convinced of the product then afterwards you are having issue after being misrepresented with canceling the order within 30 minutes of signing with them. They constantly had the ball off to one department and then another. By this time you so frustrated and feeling the savoriness of their way of business. I was attempting to resolve a billing issue and the woman 1) would not listen to the situation and continually talked over me 2) kept referring me to the authorized dealer, when the billing party is ADT 3) I already spoken with the authorized dealer and another ADT customer service representative, who referred me to ADT billing 4) she got short with me and asked "don't you see it on your billing statement?!" and I started the phone call with her saying I have not received the billing statement and trying to understand the ch... read more
I didn't even have my system for a month and every interaction I had with them was a disaster. And to finish it off, I was put on unexpected deployment orders and needed to cancel my contract. I was finally able to accomplish getting it canceled (thank god) only to wake up this morning with almost an $1800 withdrawal from my account! Never will I use this company again!! Thank you ADT for the unexpected $1800 withdrawal bunch of ******
A salesman for ADT came to our door, saying he was sent by our insurance company, and when we said we weren't interested in their service and I pointed to our already installed security, he said he guessed we were fine just watching ourselves get robbed over and over. This level of unprofessionalism was appalling especially from a supposed salesman.
Very misleading! We had them for years due to their doing. When we moved, they forced us to renew our contract or pay outrageous fee. When our contract was finally withing 4 months, we wanted to cancel. When we called, the customer service person committed fraud by telling us that we could pay half our payments due to covid for the remaining 4 months. My experience with ADT has been ***** since the day the sales guy came to my door. His sale's pitch revolves around 2 main points - 1) Rate for life and 2) First 3 months free. We quickly found out #2 was a lie when we received our first bill the month our contract started. I called the sales guy's manager and explained what the sales guy had told us, and his manager didn't know why that was said (about the first 3 months free) because that wasn't true. ADT use to be a group of reputable security professionals, but sadly, it's not anymore. The tone is always set up at the top so the problems are there. I've got major issues in W. NY, you'll want to read the next paragraph for the issues I have. You are about to learn valuable lessons at my expense. I requested a quote from ADT. The representative they assigned to me made an appt, which he then cancelled. Thing happen, wasn't upset at this point. Then he reschedules for a time that was best for him and shows up 25 mins late. When he arrived at my house, he sat in his car on what was clearly a personal call due to the amount of laughing and hysterics going on in his car as I watched from my front door.
