Very bad company to do business with. They make it very difficult to cancel. I had to call three times to cancel and still they kept charging my card and they simply say that there is no record of the me calling. The early termination fee is quoted differently by different reps. It feels like their call center people are trained to be rude to customers who want to cancel. When ever you call, ask for a call reference number and save it. Once you cancel your account successfully, never return to this company.

I called to find out about the system currently installed it the home we purchased and was mislead about the process. I never signed any paperwork nor authorized anyone sign on my behalf. After the technician came out, we declined any type of service and to my surprise I received an invoice with his signature stating I had approved the work which was **********. Please don't sign on with ADT blue!!! They are liars and ********. They told me that I can transfer my services to ADT blue so that I won't get charged ADTs cancellation fee of $534.34 l. They took $60 for the new DYI equipment that they shipped. Then, a month later ADT sends me a letter that I canceled my account and that I was going to be automatically charged the $534.34 cancellation fee. ADT is a complete ****. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIIS NIGHTMARE. The first representative that came to my door quoted me at $25 monthly, I have 4 people who were present that can vouch this. The second representative (3rd party installation guy quoted 46) which I was highly disappointed with, but what made matters worse was receiving the bill for $209, and being quoted $65 in actuality monthly and not even knowing because the amount that was never agreed upon. I cancelled my contract due to selling our house, with the understanding I would have to pay a fee for early cancellation. I have spoken to 4 different people and have gotten 4 different answers. I called for the 2nd time on 5/5/21 and spoke to Seth and then **** and was told I had to get approval from the manager **** and then **** said that the approval needed to come from Seth. Adt Over Billing Due to Wrong Order Processing in addition to this they still are billing me for security monitoring i never requested or agreed to at $40.04 per month. Called 5 times Jan. 4, 2021 Finally spoke to Will -"account manager" He said the website lists the price of the camera, it does not. ********! I called just for a general quote yesterday. They kept me on the phone for 45 minutes and kept pushing for personal information and an appointment before giving me a quote. I told them I'd have to check with my husband before committing to an appointment, & that we work long hours and different schedules so I may not get to speak with him about it right away. My realtor contacted ADT without my permission and their incessant sales person insisted I set up an appointment for installation. I contacted their customer service department and cancelled the installation, whereupon the salesperson texted me that she understood I had requested a reschedule. So, she lied about her understanding and coerced me to reschedule installation for an expensive security package that I did not request, nor need.
