I have been a customer with ADT in Waco Texas since February 2016 and pay monthly monitor payments of $40.04 for the most lousy service. Their technical support is none existing. When i need help of changing a low battery or having over sensitive alarm that gone off when i washing dishes in kitchen they didn't help. We have been with ADT since 2018 and have had good service from them. The issues that we have had are not being 100% transparent with statements. Basically, one person tells us one thing, leaves out pertinent information, then we find out other costs after we set up service. For example, we wanted to install a camera. "No" to ADT Blue This system is very unreliable for your home security. You get into a 36 month agreement on DIY system, no reliable help to install, and no reliable customer service for troubleshooting. I paid the early termination fee $770, because the system is basically trash. "You can find someone to take over your system", why would I put someone else's family at risk! ADT Security is not worth the brutal 36 month contract. I was a customer of ADT for 12 years, and when I recently had enough of over-priced old technology of ADT I tried to end services. ADT was not only unresponsive (I was kept on hold for over an hour) they were at first threatening in tone, and then fraudulently aggressive in demanding 143 dollars for me to break a contract that is ending at the end of July. Terrible experience! Not only did the installer damage door frames, drywall and window trim to the tune of $500, he had no clue what he was doing. ADT hires SaveStreets to install their systems who are idiots. The ADT alarming unit itself is a joke! On most security systems when a door or window is opened a beeping sound is immediate, however NOT with ADT. After opening any door or window there is a 4 to 5 second delay until the alert sounds. I have had ADT for a year and have had nothing but problems with there services and very dissatisfied with there product. Between sensors falling off windows and doors and batteries dying left and right, error codes on my panel. The system has been inactive due to product error more than it has actually been protecting my home. I want to cancel so bad but they told me 650$ To cancel. The representative from ADT quoted me a price of $703 to install service when I got the final bill the bill was double $1500 for the installation of our equipment and service and also they had a representative they came out and put in equipment that was not that my house couldn't handle and he told me everything was fine but I've had problems with the camera going out in the back the camera going out in the front and they took my keys and swore they didn't take them I've had nothing but problems with ADT since they installed... read more
This Company is by far the very worst on every level. No Customer Service when there is a real issue. They will oversell you on things that do not work, their equipment is garbage as well. If you have an issue with billing, overcharges, wrong charges etc.. you will never get through. I had to hire an attorney to get my money back. That is never okay. They ************ kept charging my credit card as well. You would be safer getting a dog! Even 1 star is to many here.
