ADT has been taking money out of my checking for almost 2yrs! We do not even have active service! My husband thought canceled service and they said he never called back to confirm he canceled the service! The reason we canceled is because ADT refused to upgrade our service after having it for 5yrs! They would not come out on weekend too fix our problem. So we decided to cancel! Then they say we didn't verify that we canceled! Our service says on file it is 'inactive' yet they continued too take money out of our bank account.... read more

First line customer service agents are NOT native English speakers..... This starts the experience with confusion, stress and frustration! We spent near $1000 on a comprehensive system.. over the course of 25 days, the complete system never worked in concert. Every call started the same... when I'd finally get transferred back to the USA things went a bit smoother but never perfect. I have been customer of ADT since 2015. The surveillance system installed was powered by its partner Brivo. The system has been working fine until the beginning of 2021. Cameras went down one by one. We called for tech support in February; he showed up and simply said that he is not experienced and took off. We had to reschedule and this time we asked for an experienced tech. Appointment was not available for another 2-3 weeks, and a while after he came in, he just said that he had to leave as he didn't have the parts needed... read more

ADT has the absolute worst customer service. I am trying to cancel the service for a system that hasn't worked in awhile. the customer service reps keep transferring the call and put you on horrific long waits and there is no way to cancel through their customer website. they tell you that they run tests on your system but that is not true. I recommend that you stay away from them.

Horrible service, I spent 5 hours on the phone to try to cancel our account. Wouldn't recommend ADT.

I have been a ADT customer for 6 years. I wanted to cancel the service because I'm relocating. I have been on the phone with them more than 2 hours just to be bounced around to different department and putting me on hold about 30 min each time before another operator answers. This is ridiculous. I wonder if anyone's working in their office. I don't understand why it's so difficult to cancel the service when simply they could just give it a click on their computers. And I still haven't been able to. They tell me I got to talk... read more

Very long hold times to speak to a supervisor. I was on hold on, first time 1 hr 16 minutes and second time 1 hr 10 minutes. Equipment failure. Tech who was supposed to be at my home 8-12 pm on a Saturday, no showed and when I spoke to him told me he too is overwhelmed. Then had a rep tell me the appointment shouldn't have been scheduled same day. Absolutely horrible customer service and cannot rely on ADT equipment. I regret signing the contract. Faulty equipment Doorbell does not work

Worst Company I've ever had to deal with. Were a small business the account representative that sold the system did not have the system installed correctly. Called for 3 months to get refund of course that was not happening. Now I'm stuck for 3 years dealing with an incompetent company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Horrible company don't trust this people if they tell you that cancelling is done when u call to do it.they gonna keep charging you and surprise you with a bill saying you never cancel. Not trustworthy company all they care is your money not your safety.
