My last signed contract with ADT was 2010, I asked them to cancel in 2018 and was talked into another 16 months at 22.00. The cost was steadily went up. Last straw, they took 48.00. I cancelled them with my bank. Had to change accounts, but it was worth it. I asked ADT to cancel my services as I do not have a signed contact. (There is no such thing as a verbal contract) . My husband and I had to PCS to England due to government orders and cancel our Adt services as a result. Unfortunately Adt has been nothing but a Hassel ever since. From being transfered to an extention thay hangs up on you to employees telling you false information and refusing to honor the previous conversations. I have been an ADT customer for many years. However, the system had many issues throughout the years. Last year, I called to cancel because the charges were too expensive and the system did not function. The representative informed me that she would change my account to the $14.99 account and that a technician could service my system. A technician was never available for my working hours of 8 - 5. Never keep their appointment on time, get you in a contract and for get about you, purchased 5 cameras from them and only two worked I would not use ADT

This company is a scam. On any service provider if you move or sell your home you should not pay for the remainder of the year or termination. Let's do a class action against these criminals!

this is the worse company to do business with the Representative are pathological Liars when it come there service that they provide. the most horrible contract that you would every sing there is nothing good about ADT I would not recommend ADT to anyone. please be very careful when it come to this company because you will regret singing a contract with ADT.

If I could give 0 stars I would, but had to pick one to leave a warning- do NOT consider ADT for home security needs!!! Their customer service is down-right rude and super high-pressure. We just moved into a house that the previous owners had an ADT system setup, cameras, digital panel, the works. I called to see how to get the master code reset so we could turn off alerts, reset zones, etc.. Just a heads up to anyone who has ADT security and are thinking about getting a new security company. I had a new system installed the end of June and called ADT to cancel my account which I have had for over 7 years and was not informed about a cancellation fee. Today, I get a bill for $71.00 and I called to inquire about it. I was on the phone for about an hour with three different people....ugh!
