Do not use ADT Security! My alarm went and after disarming the system I saw a code #103" check long range radio". I called ADT. The agent tested my system and said the #103 meant that my system was even connected to the tower. So its possible that I have been with out security service for 2 or 3 years! After 10 great years with ADT, I was extremely disappointed with ADT BLUE. They encouraged me to set up BLUE at my new residence 3 weeks before I moved in. When we decided we did not need it and wanted to return the unused/unopened equipment and can cancel our contract they refused. I was 8 hours past the cancellation deadline. Please make sure that you cancel before the 3O days as there is no flexibility on their end at all. Absolutely horrible. I had ADT at my former house for just under two years. When I sold my house I was told that my contract was 2 years so the penalty was only 70% of one month and that everything was cancelled and done. Fast forward a month and half and I get billed by them again. I called this morning to have them confirm the cancellation and refund me. Extremely poor customer call center service experience. And, how can damaged equipment be readily shipped to customers. I had ADT installed at my home. At the time I set up to have the installation payments and monthly monitoring fees taken out of a credit card in installments. I have received a letter in the mail from ADT saying that they have been trying to get an installment payment out of my credit card and have been unsuccessful. Called the number that Google says it's who to call to cancel. After getting all my information and asking me if there is anything to do to keep us from cancelling I was told I had to call another number on a different day. So I did. On hold for 10 minutes. ADT is a horrible company. I had a friend suggest I get ADT when I moved to Albuquerque. The salesman "tricked me" by showing me written agreement with a 2 year contract, but then had me sign a tiny hand held device that had a 3 year contract that was unable to see. I fought dilegently with ADT but obvioulsy lost because they are a giant corporation. Not only that they changed my monthly billing amount almost monthly and I had to fight for that every month too. My first encounter with ADT was pleasant during installation, however installer brought the wrong electronic color so he said. Tell I brought the wrong color lock and will install camera at that that time..installation costs to be spread over 60 months I get up this morning and I receive an alert that $2234.55 had been drafted from my checking account. My husband cancelled the service before he left for an overseas job due to poor service/monitor not working. ADT continued the recurring charges every month up to this date. We have contacted ADT MULTIPLE times to cancel the charges. The staff (multiple) always assure us that the account is cancelled but ADT keeps charging us for non-existent service!
