I am a Protection One customer who has seen level of service PLUMMET since ADT take over. There is a serious problem when my alarm is triggered and I have to call ADT to find out why ADT isn't calling me to make sure everything is OK. That has happened several times over the last year or two. ADT changes processes and doesn't notified ANYONE about the services you *** be depending on to keep you and your family safe. Not ELDER Friendly!!! HEALTH AND SENIOR SAFETY?!!! WHERE??!!! My elderly mother, a LOYAL customer for 23+ years, had an issue with her system 8/6/21. She contacted customer support @ approx 1130pm. She was instructed to reset her system. She was unable to do so, so then she was told to locate her electric panel (outside her house in the attached shed) and flip switches until he constant beeping/noise stopped. Had ADT for 8 years. Prior to moving my wife called and cancelled our service because we were moving out of state and sold the house. They claimed to cancel the service, we left and new owners moved in. New owners had alarm go off unexpected and new owners and ADT called us, left voice mail and said alarm going off and police are on the way. We called them back and they claimed we never closed account, had to pay for two months of service when not there. Also have to pay for false alarm bill for police response. Do not do business with ADT Commercial. I have been doing business with them for over 3 years for fire system monitoring, inspections, maintenance, and design/installation and it has genuinely been terrible. I am switching vendors, no matter the cost/inconvenience, that is how fed up I am with ADT Commercial. I know they are a national company and that is very beneficial if you have locations all over the U.S. like we do. It still isn't worth it. They will take advantage of SENIORS!!! PLEASE BE AWARE!!! My father has been with the company for over 25yrs and they mislead him into an upgrade. All he wanted was to add two cameras and they had to as they said upgrade his system when the techs came to the house. Why didn't they explain over the phone when he first initiated the call? Now, fast forward we need to pay the installment they sent the wrong contract that he requested and should honor that amount which they don't want too!!! Horrible service I called to do an appointment for a technician to come to my house because my water stopped working so I got a new one and the cameras will not work they told me it was gonna be $99 for him to come and fix the problem well guess what he said that it was 420 something when he left and I had to pay that at front I called the branch to figure out why and the manager or supervisor I did not care what I had to explain to them and They were really rude

We are very disheartened, disappointed, and regretfully loyal customers of ADT. We've been subscribers to this company since the purchase of our first home in 2012. Services have since been transferred into our subsequent 4 homes. This year we began service with the ADT Blue product for the first time and have been beyond disappointed. After the initial 2 months or so (after the cancelation period) 90% of the equipment has failed to work on an ongoing basis. Avoid doing business with ADT Security Service. They have the most inept service providers imaginable. We ordered an ADT home security service, but when attempting to pay for it, we received a contract that had 3 additional payment charges that were never mentioned. We discovered this included a duplicate charge for the same items. When we attempted to resolve the issue, on 2 separate occasions, we were bounced between 7 different agents one day, and 6 agents on the second day. I had been with ADT for a number of years (around 20) I called to cancel services in March; was told by the person I spoke with that I needed to call another number to cancel - which I did. In April I called back due to the fact that the person that wanted to rent the home wanted to know what to do about equipment and could they use existing equipment and start up a new account.
