ADT has terrible customer service and I've been mislead by several employees. I called in February of 2021 to cancel my service due to a move and I was told the service would be cancelled and the new owners would have the option to continue service if they so choose. I had emails from the relocation office yet I was still unable to receive any sort of refund of money after I was charged for several months of unused service. ADT is going to charge us $1200 to cancel services that we have never used. We never set up any of the devices and every time we try to call we cannot get a hold of anyone. We waited on hold for 2 hours today after being disconnected a few times calling in. All this just to be told we cannot take your device equipment back and cancel unless you pay us $1200. ******** ******** ******** I thought I would never say this but this is an ultimate low. They are preying on people!
We have been working with ADT to resolve a billing issue for the past 2 months and have been unsuccessful. Phone calls result in long times on hold, frequent dropped calls after holding for as much as an hour, and a complete lack of follow through to address our concern. We would NEVER recommend ADT Security to anyone.
Poor monitoring and service. The service got too expensive and I called to cancel. I was then billed for 2 more months. In addition I received an Email that said I could get an upgrade and the service for $14.99 but then got a letter in the mail that said it is $54.99. The last time a technician came out he broke the cover to my attic access. They offered to correct it but never followed through.
I've been a customer just a month and ADT has a 6 month money back guarantee, however when you have issues they beat around the bush . The techs even tell you how bad they are and you still can't cancel. They lie about the 6 month money back guarantee and tell you if you cancel you owe 2400 dollars I want to cancel as the cameras are faulty and very delayed and the door sensors don't work and have had three techs out and no help
STAY AWAY!!!! THERE IS ONLY A THREE-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!!!!! We decided to get ADT after our first home was broken into before we bought it. We had a very go idea of who did it. We were more interested in the cameras rather than the alarm. After paying a fortune to get everything installed which wasn't everything we wanted because the ADT tech told me these items wouldn't work with my house. Paying for this service but it's not working and the system is constantly malfunctioning. I paid for it to feel safe yet I don't. They won't send someone to fix it for 5 days.. very upset.

Read every word of every contract you sigh with ADT. I was a satisfied customer for 5 years. Three years into contract they called stating, "You are eligible for an up grade". I knew it would cost a few $s for a month to have a camera in home. They sent a 6 or 7 page, ***** print contract for virtual doc signing. Since I trusted them, I didn't read every word, I signed.
