Can I give is fewer stars? ADT first harassed us since February to have service (yep in the middle of Covid). Everyday TWICE a day, we got some email about SERVICE NOW (something about changing system from 3g to 5g). So we schedule appointment after appointment. FOUR appointments have been scheduled and then CANCELLED by ADT. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. My last call, the service person practically hung up on me. I used to trust ADT. I was with Protection 1 recently acquired by ADT. This complaint is regarding a service call and the performance of their monitoring center. This was an allegedly required radio update to a fully functional, working system. The new radio was installed, tested, the technician left. Later we noticed that one of our panels was dead - the one that controls our automation. This company is now ADT. My complaint is regarding a service call. This was an allegedly required radio update to a fully functional, working system. Wish I would have read reviews on Blue by ADT before I bought their crap! Worst service, worst equipment (totally useless)... a dead turtle would do a better job of securing your home. The sensors never work, always errors, always say "tampered" on the app when nobody touches them or opens the door. Then you have to take the battery out, reset it, etc. Then it does it all over again and again, and again. Useless junk. I've tried calling customer support several times... get put on hold forever. Extremely bad customer service I'm paying for a service I'm not receiving they locked me in for 24 months and I can't even use their service but they make me pay for it I sold my house and I can't even get a cancel my service because they locked me in

I moved out the location using ADT service, I called the customer service to cancel it, the customer service held me in line for over 2 hours and transferred to different lines multiple times but didn't help me to cancel the service, the last customer representative said according to their policy, cancellation needs 30 days notice. I was noticed by the homeowner to move out less than 30 days, how can I plan to cancel everything before knowing I'm moving out? ADT is the poster child of what happen when a company is looking for the profit only, forget that the reason they exist on the 1st place because of their customer. I moved in my new home and in 2 week we have 7 ADP personal cold drop to sell there product. 7!!! you know what I choose, I brought the competitor's product, because I researched about it, looked into tons of review and found what suits my need most, I paid almost 1000 bucks of my own money for it and added it. Been with ADT for over 5 years from the ADT Pulse system, to ADT Command, touch screen system. No real problems out of either. When we moved, they forced me into ADT Blue, which surprise... came with a new contract, even though there was a year left in my current contract. That was 2 months ago. None of the equipment functions properly now. False alarms. Sensors always off line Police showing up at my house as a result of false alarms. We weren't told that we had a monthly month contract for their horrible service. Tried to cancel and they offer no relief. Don't ever use them. They never are available to speak with you on the phone and take days to offer any home service. The service reps aren't helpful if there are problems with the system. Worst company ever. We just thought it would be easy to continue the existing service from our previous home owners. Nothing was installed. What a rip off. DON'T DO BUSINESS with this company!
