I was cancelling my service after living in Memphis for 5 months I am currently disabled and have to move in with my daughter in Florida until I get better, if I get better. I will be living with her indefinitely. ADT service told me if I get the new owners to my home I would be free of any charges. I called the new owners and they said they will take over my account with ADT. To find out today ADT took $830.49 out of my Bank account without my knowledge. ADT has poor customer service, equipment that doesn't work. It is also hard to get an appointment in a reasonable time for someone to come out to address your concerns.
ADT has to be the worst Security Service out there. I have been trying for a month and half to get someone to fix my alarm systems with no luck. They finally set up a appointment between noon and 4 pm. The person that was suppose to work on it called at 4 pm and said he was running late and maybe he could get here in about 1 hour. Absolutely the worst home alarm monitoring service I've ever had. They replaced our cellular unit in May and it has never worked properly. I called to have it fixed in August, and it worked for about an hour, then failed again. It is impossible to speak to anyone in customer service because their phone lines are low volume and patchy, and I can never understand the person on the other end. Adt don't honor their agreement and go back on their word when you have evidence to support what you're saying
ADT is the worst. Bait and switch tactics. When I purchased my home the realtor set up the ADT service for my home. I was erroneously signed up under a contract I was unaware of. When I called to cancel the service because I was moving they charged exorbitant cancellation fee 2K + and then never cancelled the service as directed and continue to charge my bank account monthly. We scheduled an appointment a week put and canceled a vacation renter that would have made us 800.00 . The tech never called to confirm and just did not show up after hours of waiting for them. I have a house phone with a answering machine no one called no messege left . What a terrible company wit Horrible service . I'll Never use them BUYET beware they ****
ADT has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The techs who have come out to service our equipment continuously fail to correct the issue, and they blame one another and ADT for the issues with the cameras and door sensors. The equipment won't arm properly, the cameras don't record properly, the alarm goes off randomly at all hours, and the door sensors only work half the time.
