Trying to get a credit they owe me and they are terrible to deal with.
I was told when we moved we had two options, take our equipment with us or let the new owners assume the contract and we wouldn't be charged a termination fee. I chose to let the new owners of my home take over the contract and leave them our equipment since they wanted service and we hadn't found a new home yet. Lack of cooperation when moving out of the country and have no other alternative other than cancel contract. ADT is not available at the country that we are moving and without any hesitation the customer representative was very happy to inform me that I need to pay 75% of the balance of the contract, on a service that I have no way to use in the future. Nice way for them to make more money.
While a good company when coming out to set up a system not so good once it's installed. Had numerous service calls made over a month out only to be informed the day before the appointment that the tech is not working on that day. Once maybe but every time. Canceling the service is also a nightmare. I was a loyal customer for six years. Stay far away from ADT.
ADT is the worst company we ever had to deal with. They lie and do horrible work. After three or more months our cameras still doesn't work at night. We've sent emails, texts, and phone calls, but none of this made any difference. I would not recommend ADT for security or otherwise to anyone! ******
Less in 24hrs....I got it install on Wednesday morning...Wednesday night my house got vandalize ,and no recording of it...it record everything before it and everything after it,Not going to pay monthly if it not going to record when i needed it most,Next day i cancel with in the 3days,Less in 24hrs they took $99 install fee which was OK ,but never approved them taking $69 month ahead of time from my card! I have been a customer for almost 30 years, I am on my 2nd upgrade. I own my own business, ADT told me they would schedule after 6pm, (which was done 1st upgrade. tech called me at 4pm said is 10 min out, i told him the appointment was scheduled for after 6, and they should call me 10 min before arrival. He told me THAT WOULD NOT WORK FOR HIM. Nice, right, not to mention I cleared out my closet, so he could access system. ADT Blue does not deserve any stars. They are ******** and all about Bring sneaky. I have not used their equipment at all. It is still in the box. But I did pay the fee and never asked for my money back/refund. I just wanted to be canceled. I called customer service and all they did was give me the run around.
