The worst, most unfathomable "bait and switch" just to make a sale practices I have ever seen. I had an ADT employee tell me I could upgrade all my equipment, in May. I told them at that time that come the Fall, just a few months later, I was moving. I was told I could just take all my equipment with me - it's almost brand new. Completely false. The company told me I had to buy all new equipment, to the tune of $1,000+ and then hit me with a $1,000+ cancelation fee when I said I won't purchase brand new equipment when I have... read more

I stopped using ADT two years ago. During the last 30 days I have received over 5 calls requesting me to upgrade my service. I have told each person that I no longer use their services and have requested them to never call me again. I do not want them to call me again.

Mistreatment to Loyal Customer for over 35 years. Want to be refunded for a system that doesn't work. $2239.00. Not responded to several calls.

DO NOT USE ADT COMMECRIAL.. we had to use them as they are our landlord's contractor. we paid them (in full) in April to do work in our Newley renovated restaurant. in October (Still didn't do anything) they asked for more money as they claimed they had to do more work. my Landlord picked up the additional bill. TODAY 10/26/21 they DID NOT pass inspection, and they had the nerve today to ask for more money to schedule another inspection. I wish I can give them minus 10 stars for their way of doing business.

Adt never canceled service after I told them to back in August 2021 and keep giving me the run around to cancel and get a refund. I've been transferred, put on hold, talked to 10+ people, even hung up on. This is a terrible company that won't admit their mistakes, they take your money and make it difficult to cancel service with them, consumer beware!!!

Our account was acquired from LiveWatch a number of years ago. In Sept 2021, I called Brinks to cancel our service due to price increases. After several hours of frustrating hold over the course of a couple days, I was finally told that I could only cancel after paying $1150.20. There is no way that I would have signed a contract with such terms. Were the terms buried in pages and pages of legal mumble jumble? Technicians are consistently late, inexperienced, each one gives you conflicting information or simply says, "I don't know" to basic questions. LOTS OF ATTITUDE when you call the main line for help. VERY DISORANIZED company whose employees are poorly trained. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE. ADT is too big and doesn't need your business and their treatment of their customers proves that time and time again!

I am absolutely disgusted with ADT. We signed up for service about a year ago with no issues. Then, several months ago, a Vivint agent came by to offer us everything we had with ADT PLUS outdoor cameras, for a similar price. The deal was too good to refuse, so after we received our prepaid card from Vivint to cover the cost of the cancelation fee from ADT, I called ADT to cancel service.
