Beware of the ADT Security Company, they really don't care about you! I had ADT Security for almost 3 years when I was living in Apopka. When I moved to Clermont in 2020, I called to move my service to Clermont. They didn't have to install anything as their system was already installed in my new house. All they had to do was connect. The service in Apopka was already not working properly as it should, but I gave ADT another chance when I moved to Clermont. I have 400 Gig Internet from Spectrum, and it works great! I have been with ADT over 12 years and throughout the years I had very little problems with service other than failure of the backup battery that I thought was a little pricey to replace. However, I just recently cancelled my service for my home in Chicago and I was told that it will take 30 days for their system to cancel my service and I will be charged for those 30 days even though I am under no contract. Poor customer service. My system is not working probably. Missed an appointment today because I thought we had scheduled it for 11/04//21. The earliest that I could be rescheduled is 11/18/21. Attempted to get a virtual appointment after 4pm nothing available until Saturday. I stayed on the phone for at least 45 to get nothing accomplished. My security system will not allow me to arm it (away) but that is not important to ADT. Very stressful dealing with ADT

We canceled our contract with ADT months ago and they decided they would still charge our account. We even told an ADT employee in person we had canceled our contract that we no longer wanted their products. We signed the paper they had emailed to us to cancel the services but still nothing. My husband and I just want our money back and for ADT to stop taking money from us.

Had alarm system installed. When I talked to sales rep about install, I asked about outdoor camera and if there would be any holes drilled through my wall and/or exposed cords. They assured me no only to find out when the installer was here that's when I was told was not true. I was told I could keep the camera to see if I could I come up with another power option. This is the WORST company for CUSTOMER SERVICE. My system had not worked. My alarm has gone off while I was stuck in my house. The app not working. The key pad not working. I TRIED TO CANCEL MY SERVICE THREE TIMES. WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR EACH TIME. WHEN I FINALLY REACHED A REP HE HARASSED ME INTO NOT HELPING IN CANCELLING MY SERVICE. HE WOULD NOT CANCEL IT. HUGE waiting times to talk to anyone. Prices are outrageous. Contract is egregious. I have tried to get a hold of someone to cancel service. It's impossible. They put you on permanent hold.

I had a serviceman come out to check our cameras n 8/20/2021. He just wiped the camera glass with a towel, and was gone within 30 minutes. I supposed to be charged a minimal fee, but instead was billed $327.11. I called ADT on 10/1/21 and 10/8/21 and was told someone from Omaha would call me back. I never heard anything and ADT and now they want payment. I am a senior citizen and this sounds like consumer ***** to me!

ADT has called me 15 times this month. They keep asking for "*****" I have repeatedly told them I am not *****, I do not know ***** and I have never had any business with ADT. I have advised them that I am on the do not call list and do not want to receive any communication with or from ADT. Every time they tell me My phone number will be removed!
