I wish I would have came here before purchasing Blue ADT! My husband and I recently had our car stolen from our apartment complex and knew it was time for some home security. A close family member HIGHLY suggested ADT to us and turned us away from Xfinity Home which we should of just got. Only focused on making a sale. No matter what number you call you will hear an auto mated system tell you you are calling adt. You will have no idea if you are talking to one of the sub contractors. Originally I was just trying to relocate my service, I called first phone number for adt on Google. Spoke to a relocation department and was assisted and told current equipment will stay with the residence and I would be mailed new equipment. Over the past few months I have been provided with the worst customer service ever with ADT. They auto-drafted over $400 from my checking account with no notice whatsoever and have passed me around to several different reps over the past few months all who were not helpful and all who told me false information. They still owe me almost $700 back and continue to treat me like I don't matter at all. Wouldn't give one star if possible. Can't imagine, aside from being paid off, that the BBB rates them A+. What a joke. This is the most corrupt company I have ever dealt with in my 50 years of life! I made multiple phone calls (10 to be exact) to cancel my overpriced contract of 3 years. By the way, every payment was made on time and I was charged over $2000.00 for equipment at install. I called today to cancel my service with ADT. The sales rep said it would take 30 days to cancel. When I asked whether I would be billed for another month she refused to speak to me about it. I've called my credit card company to cancel any further payments to ADT.

I signed up for ADT because i needed security for my uncles house who died of COVID and I wanted to protect the property. ADT did not follow through on their responsibilities and they were very rude. *did not contact the police after the alarm went off two times * Called ADT on 5 times and they never answer the phone after being on hold for over one hour * Spoke with employee about my services and he was very very rude with a abrupt tone and response.

I have had ADT for 2 years and for 2 years my cameras have been faulty. when I called to have someone come out, I was told there would be a fee and I need to troubleshoot by using the website. We recently had a power outage and when the power came back on I got a low battery alert. I followed the instructions and the low battery was still showing, that was 3 months ago. Unfair and Deceptive Practices. They try to say they're giving you a free system, but what they're really doing is locking you into a three year contract and you're actually leasing the system. When I realized this I asked how much it would be to cancel and they said over $900. They advertise no contracts but that's not what they deliver.
