I have been trying to cancel service for hours and this company just keeps on giving me the run around, they keep on transferring me from one department to another and no one wants to process my request... Stay away from this company!

Adt took advantage of my blind spouse and put us in a 3 year contract. After asking to cancel the contract they are still billing us. Adt is totally a RIP off to the consumers.

I have been an ADT customer for about 10 years in the Boston/Cape Cod area. Recently, and unfortunately, I decided to upgrade from Pulse to Control. It has been a nightmare and after a month is still not corrected. I have attempted several times to get resolution with the sale person, *** ******* and the Installation Mgr, **** ********; they NEVER respond with a resolution....just automatic generic responses...."thanks for contacting me...you are important, blah blah, blah." This company is the worst if you have to cancel with them, I was a customer for 5 years we sold our house and they sent me a refund check in the mail, I never received the check 3 months later they sent me a letter stating I never cashed the check so they resent it. Once I cashed the check, I received a letter from a collection agency stating I owed the exact amount that was refunded to me. I am using Adt for 3 yrs. My price had been raising up and technician charged me unnecessary charges. I called ADT and a representative of Loyalty department, Torrie solved all my complaints. I could get stable affordable price and technician fee adjustment. I read many complaints from here and I understand what they feel. I want to recommend you to call ADT and talk with someone to solve this issue. I think Loyalty department is the Best to talk with since they know you spent a lot to Adt for long time and they try to help ... read more

If ZERO stars was an option.... Beware of this company. This has been the worst decision and business interaction I have ever had. They offer inaccurate pricing, and required a 3 year contract. The technician was in my home until after midnight when they installed at a higher price. The garage sensor was installed incorrectly which prevented my garage door from opening. Worst company ever. If I could give ADT 0 star I will. Horrible customer service and communication. With the cellular light on main box being red for a couple months, ADT did nothing but kept telling me my system is communicating with them without any issue. Sent me a CellBridge box to ensure the signal transfer from 3G to 4G, really a piece of junk as the 3G and 4G lights on this box are RED all the time. I think that they do not know how to take no for an answer when they are soliciting people. I have unsuccessfully tried to unsubscribe more than 50 times and they persist to send me solicitations to my email address. I do not know what to do other than to contact this better Business bureau site. I am thoroughly disgusted and downright angry that the solicitations continue. If anybody out there knows how to help me be successful in unsubscribing from the solicitations I would greatly appreciate to hear from them.

Cancellation Fraud Warning.. Once ADT has your credit card information they do not cancel your service when told to do so. They continue to bill your account and then claim not to receive the cancellation request. My next step will be to sue them as they are extremely dishonest. Whatever you do, do not use this company. It is the same thing as having the thieves inside your home, which is a shame as they were hired to help keep thieves outside your home.
