Recently, I found out that ADT has been charging my husband and I for service that we had over 8 years ago. The service was cancelled because I had to send the equipment back to ADT. We moved from the home in which we had the service 7 years ago. Again we recently discovered they are still charging us for the service. Just bunch of liars I don’t know where to start , this company should not be able to to be in business
We were lied to about paying a cancelation fee. Our contract was coming to an expiration point and I wanted to make sure that the services no longer continued after the contract was over. We were charged an extra $35 for a cancelation fee ON TOP OF OUR last bill. Customer service lied about what the charges would be for us no longer continuing to have service past our service contract natural expiration date. Overall an absolutely terrible experience. The sales rep was incredibly deceptive and told me multiple statements that turned out to be not true and the system never performed as I was told it would. I've had multiple incidents where it would not notify me of someone on the property when it should have. Whenever I would call for assistance I would end up spending hours on the phone and never received resolution. I was not told the contract was for three years with a huge payout penalty. ADT is nothing short of a Scammer!!!! Customers beware!!! My contract ran out in July of 2021. I had nothing but trouble with this alarm from the first day. I would activate alarm and before I could get into my vehicle, the alarm went off!!! I called numerous times and NOT ONE service person could tell me that the motion sensor are also heat sensors. I fully paid out my three year subscription with this poorly managed company. I returned the equipment as specified via the FedEx labels provided to me. ADT Blue never closed my account and continued to auto bill me and further harass me with calls about the account I had requested be closed at the termination of the contract Their account supervisory team is not only inefficient but one representative was very rude to me. I expect a full apology from this company. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
I keep getting e-mails advertising for ADT. I have unsubscribed many times over the last few months and sent them notes in the reply section. They will not stop sending me e-mails. I will never do business with these **** bags and hope they go out of business.
ADT has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been called a liar, given false information and been stuck in a contract tin which they are not upholding their end of the deal. Prices continue to rise without any notification until the billing cycle. The technician installed a doorbell they ultimately knew wouldn't work in the first place. Aside from the contractor who sold the system LYING to me, I've had nothing but issues with the system. The outdoor cameras will randomly not record...just precisely when someone breaks into my vehicle or the neighbor kids come into the yard and tear up the Christmas decorations. Now the indoor camera - which is only supposed to trigger when the system is armed - is constantly on and spamming my notifications.
