They refuse to refund money on an account that was cancelled 3 months ago saying they never received any cancellation notice. I was transferred from department to department without being told I was being transferred trying to get this reconciled. We haven’t owned our home in three months and they refuse to refund money for services they aren’t even rendering
Very shady company!!! Continuously charge from stuff without advising that they are. Then they turned around and called me a liar. No one could pay me to stay with this terrible shady company. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND RUN AWAY FROM ADT!!!!!!
ADT IS TERRIBLE: They came out to install an upgrade to my system to 4G. The unit they brought was not the correct one, so they came back 2 weeks later with supposedly the correct one. It did not work, it had no signal to connect. They sent someone back 2 weeks later with a new unit and it still did not get a good signal, so they said they needed to order an antenna to correct the issue.when the tech was trying to get a connection he knocked our phone lines off, and then had to correct the phone issue. We have simply been attempting to close ONE small company account for over 6 months now with continuous calls and alerts at all hours of the day telling us the system is down. Yes, there is no electricity to the camera and we wish to just close the account. Garbage of a company, my security system only worked for the first month with them and then never worked for 3 years after. They never even called me letting me know nothing was working. I had to call them out multiple times to fix the connections and it never got fixed and had to pay 60 dollars every time even after paying insurance that covers it. They also charged me AFTER my contract expired saying I didn't let them know "30 days before" but I told them 7 months prior that I was canceling. If i could give this company a ... read more
Can I give zero stars? Bottom line, I am just an ATM for this business. No common courtesy. Lies, unkept promises. Extra billing. No returned calls. System problems and glitches. I was a 13 year customer. Clearly there is no "customer relationship". Don't do it. You will regret it.
Im wondering if ADT paying companies and people to give a positive review. It has been the worst purchase I have ever made. I spent thousands for the system and the only thing that has worked properly is one camera over the garage. They lock you into a contract and know if you cancel they can charge you 75% of the 3 years expected contract so they wont fix any problems. They will decide to send someone to "look" at the problems right before the end of contract to try and get you to extend your contract otherwise they wont do... read more
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THE ALARM DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY, ALWAYS TRY TO SEND A TECHNICIAN. AND TO TOP IT OFF WITH ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR TECHNICIAN VISIT. ADT is honestly a scam service. The previous homeowners had ADT equipment in the home, and the sign out front, and our salesman claimed to have worked with them, which I honestly doubt. My wife grew up in San Francisco and had her home broken into multiple times, so it was easy for them to convince her to get a security system for our recently purchased home in a nice area with a low crime rate.
