I have been an ADT customer for about a decade and I am so disappointed at the level of customer service, follow up & follow through I've received in my recent move. I moved this summer and alerted your company.. I was advised that Blue by ADT would be the best option based on my circumstances. The rep confirmed there would be no cancellation fee but a new contract term. Billing started immediately and I thought all was well. I was wrong. Set up an appointment to have them look at my current ADT system and recommend a plan. Once the appointment was set, they barraged me with daily emails to sign an agreement and wanting to charge me $740 for installation....even though we hadn't determined what if anything needed to be installed. Called them and was told "we'll credit you back if installation costs less." Called back to cancel and was transferred to the "save" department where they try and convince you not to cancel. did not know I signed up for 36 months my fault want to cancel service because I cannot set up even with help Paying $45 a month for something i cannot use Willing to return entire mobile set but will not let me how do I get out of this? cannot leave negative star

After 2 1/2 years over paying for ADT and the equipment not working properly, I gave them 4 service attempts to fix the camera and connetivity issues. I stopped payment on the service. They have contiunued to send me bills and now sent me to collections. Do not use ADT for anything. They do not take responsibility for their bad service and do not want to resolve the issue. I will not pay them not be bullied by some collection agency. I will go to the attorney generals office in Texas and file a case as well.

I have had adt for two years. They sell you equipment that you can't maintenance yourself. Then they promise to send someone out to fix the problem but don't follow through. HORRIBLE COMPANY

I have only been with ADT for 2 months. I have found an URGENT need to have cameras installed (i.e. someone consistently trying to get into my home). Safe Haven installed the system and a new tech, brand new mind you installed my system (nice guy and knowledgable). I was unable to get written instructions for my system. I had to contact the main number on ADT's website to have them mailed to me. I needed cameras put in, called Safe Haven for 3 days. No response. I had to call the main ADT number (from website) to order them.... read more

On October 8, 2020, I had my alarm system (land line based) upgraded to a wifi-based system with 2 cameras and it was a confusing mess. The installation technician and equipment sales representative evidently have no communications between them. It seems like everything that I'd discussed, regarding the new equipment, with the sales rep was different from what the installation tech told me upon arrival. ADT are just *******. You can set up a service quickly, but you will never get a technician, and if you try to cancel the service, it will not be possible. In my case, I ended up closing my bank account after ADT stole hundreds of dollars from me.

I have been on the phone for more than two hours to have some additional equipment installed at my home. I keep being transferred and no one seems to know the history of the phone call when connected with a new consultant. I am nervous about trusting this completely disorganized company with my home security.
