I was very upset that The technician that came was reeking of pot smell I had to air out my house for an hour after these 2 gentlemen left.
ADT charges for services customers never receive! They send you equipment that doesn't work coming out of the box and ADT takes money from your bank account after they're certain that you're NOT receiving the services you are paying for! Their customer service representative will LIE to get the SALE! Once ADT gets your banking information and you want to CANCEL your order ADT will DEMAND You give them a minimum of $1400+. Horrible customer service and they did not provide the service we paid hundreds of dollars for. We have tried to work with them for months to get the service that they promised. We still do not have a system that works. They leave you on hold then transfer you around to different departments. No one knows what to do then they don't show up at your appointment time. It's been the worse experience I have ever had and I have no working security service but getting a bill every month.
I canceled within the 2 days and it took 2 weeks to remove! Then they kept charging my bank account and I had to get bank to deny payments! That cost me $36 to do that! Theyn still a months later I was charged and bank refused to pay them, then they emailed me that: The payment was refused by bank! Good! So, I called and finally girl said it is closed and gave me reference #XXXXXXXX to assure me I will not be hassled again! Hope this is it!
Beware of ADT and their contracts. Those contracts are meant to protect them 100%. Once you sign the contract they own you and treat you like garbage. Been a customer for 7 years. First 5 years locked in a contract and after that month to month plan. Was pleased with service in the past until I added a door bell camera. Camera hasn't worked in over a month. Customer service is horrible!!! I have called and called about my camera, but yet they still want to charge me! I DO NOT recommend ADT
Ill never do business with ADT again. System has been offline for 3 months and I've spent hours and hours and hours on the phone to get an appointment for the upgrade. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AND THE TECH DID NOT SHOW!! I had to take a vacation day off work for this and was not told until being on hold for over an hour that the part was on back order and the Tech never was going to come. Customer Service takes forever be prepared to spend at least 1 to 2 hours. I cancelled my contract within the 3 days. I had payed double, I am still waiting for the refund it has been more than 1 month.
If I could give this company negative 500 stars, I would. The level of ********, negligence, laziness, and carelessness is absolutely mind blowing. I have never had a consumer experience go this poorly in my life. I was an ADT customer for years and absolutely loved it.
