Front door lock went out. In order to get it replaced, I would have to pay a $59 service charge...I guess my monthly payment is for talking to a human and connecting police only. Well to avoid the $59, I asked if they could ship me the lock. They did and I can't wait to cancel this service when my contract is up. Whether this is haven security or adt, adt should be responsible.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! STAY FAR AWAY. We had ADT service in our old house which consisted of the alarm system and wifi camera system. The military moved us to a different state. When it came time to move, we were told to leave the equipment there and we'll get new equipment installed on the new place.... well we didn't have a house in the new location and had to rent because of the current market. Buyer beware. ADT is a scam. They installed at my personal home a year ago. We were promised a doorbell camera and when the installer showed up he informed us that we'd have to pay for an electrician to install a doorbell camera... thats the only thing we wanted. After about 2 months ths both the front door and backdoor cameras stopped working. They then informed us, you guessed it, we'd have to pay extra for them to fix the equipment. So now we have 0 camers that work that we have to pay full price for because we are locked... read more

I recently moved. We sold our home and moved into a rental property. An local ADT rep reached out to me and said that if the new buyer wanted adt service, then this would alleviate me from having to pay an early termination fee. To this day, this still hasn’t happened. I was told about ADT blue service. I was informed that adt blue is a month to month option, no contract. I can install my own equipment and cancel service at any time. In return, in exchange for obtaining this new service, I would not have to pay my early term... read more

Worst business and customer service ever. I was yelled at and hung up on. I was refused to speaking to a higher up. After a break in and loss due to their alarm not being set up as was promised. We were told it was our fault and they can’t do anything.

Extremely bad service! Over the past 2 weeks literally, I was trying to figure out issues with my cameras and bell and I was getting a run around from customer service first to the virtual technician and then the actual tech. I have a maintenance package that I have been paying for YEARS and the tech who came to visit 5- days after my first call for service, without looking into cameras and bell mentioned that it's not covered. and left within 2 minutes of his arrival. I signed up in February but ended up moving in March, somewhere far away. I had contacted ADT about canceling my service and was told I can not cancel, even if moving. Since then they have taken $1,157.35 and then another $2,033.18 out of my bank account.(March and April). I am still trying to get to the bottom of this. I cannot afford this, especially since I've moved and I'm not using their service anymore, after this, I will never use them again. Why do they think this is ok?

If the service from ADT is security you’re better off without it! From beginning to end this company is horrible. The instillation of the security equipment was inept. The first service person was fired for trying to install the wrong equipment. There were 3 times that the alarm went off and I was out of town for all of them. The security people acted like I was interrupting their lunch when I called to find out what happened. I’ve had enough of this company and tried to cancel their service.
