They gloss over contract terms when signing new customers. Beware! I signed up for ADT due to a neighbor conflict which escalated to the point of needing to sell my home. I went to cancel ADT and wanted them to remove the equipment I paid for so I could bring it to my new home and they informed me the equipment I purchased - cameras, specialty smoke alarms and siren - had to stay there and I had to buy all new equipment. Its extremely important that customers ADT Security Services technicians may have hacked their systems. As an employee at the time four technicians installed the system on 04/30/2020. I have all of the evidence needed based on management and corporate beginning to harrass me due to my refusal in having a technician come to my home and destroying i!! . Fraudulent I ordered adt and paid them over 100. For some cameras.. I was told I would have to install them. Which I have no idea. ADT was taking $47out of my checking account every month. Never got them hooked up yet! Jan to March! I had to close my card out because I lost it and adt keeps telling me update the info. I told them I haven’t installed them and how much would it cost to get out of this? They told me 1500. Worst company to ever do business with. Not only did they try to upcharge me on my cancelation, they disconnected with me 4 times and took over 3 hours Horrible customer service reps, really nice when you want to buy or upgrade over the phone but as soon as you tell them you want to cancel ,they are rude. Was being charged for services they didnt provide, as soon as i said i was going to a competitor they talked down about them and said i wasnt smart for attempted to switch. DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH THEM

ADT wants us to believe that security is their foremost concern...NOT! Looks like their prime concern is hitting on your bank account. Had an appointment for service between noon and 4:00p.m.. The technician showed up a little after 4:30. So far, so good, right? No way. He then indicated that he lacked what he needed to address the problem. Say what??? !!!!!!!!!!ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USED THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!!! I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT FEBRUARY 2022 AND THEY ARE STILL TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT. I called to cancel within the 3 day period not once, not twice, but three times. Per their contract, and they agree, i should be refunded, have any necessary equipment taken back, and the contract cancelled with no charge. It has been almost 20 days and I have had to call again and again, with assurances that they are "kicking it to branch" with "notes" and that I would be contacted within 72 hours. 20 days is a lot of 72 hours. adt replace my 3 g systems to 5 g system still does not work install manager will not call back 1-800-ADT KEEPS saying manager will call back in 3-5 days but nobody ever does it has been over 4 weeks

ADT customer service is trash I spoke to several agents to setup an appointment for a simple installation of a camera doorbell before I was finally able to get an appointment, an agent claims I needed another product in order to get the camera doorbell found out that wasn’t true I finally got the appointment today (04/20/22) the nonchalant servicer checked the doorbell claims it has work before the install can start I said I’ve asked one of the agents will that be an issue that the bell wasn’t working I was assured it wasn’t... read more
