I was an ADT customer for 15 years. ********************** renewed my contract without my agreement. I was selling my home and when I seek for help to understand why I had a contract, no body helped me. After several calls they said they will cancel the contract without charge and a Month after I received at home a debt to pay with ADT of $579. This is how they treat a customer of 15 years with no single late payment. I would never recommend them or go back to get service from ADT.

I had ADT since December but it never worked consistently for the last 6 mos, They blame that it was my door **** that had a problem , come find out that they have given me a refurbished doorbell which I paid in full price. The last technician they sent was the one who even showed me that it was refurbished that was installed, that's why it never worked well for the last 6 mos and blew my doorbell twice. I have no words to describe how disappointed and frustrated I am with ADT. We are one month in, and the battery died to our panel. We did this because our daughter has been having a very serious issue with a stalker situation. We chose to do this seven months in to this situation...... One month in, across the country, our panel dies, battery dies...while she is alone. Again, the whole reason we installed this system. HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE BILLING DEPARTMENT! No one in the billing department seems to know what they are doing. The last interaction I had with them, I spoke with ******* who claims he has 10 years experience, and is a billing specialist. What a joke! They keep on billing me for charges that were their fault, and not mine. And, this was admitted by ******* He told me that the ******* office had attached a rider to my contract for items that were never installed. ADT Sales, representive that comes to Consumers home is setting up consumers whom wish to have home Security for failure. I have had this service for over a year. I have been calling and chatting via website to arrange to get my service transferred to a different address since I have moved. The wait time for someone to answer is crazy. Then when you finally get to speak to someone it's not the right department so you wait some more. Worst customer experience ever. Called to cancel and they said someone would come out to uninstall the equipment but no one ever came. Called back to ask if someone was calling and they said I never made a request to have the equipment uninstalled. Then tried to say I had to pay **** to get out of the contract the second time calling back to cancel. ADT came to our house and offered hey system that we excepted. About a week later the representative came out to install the system and everything went fine until they broke the water line to our fire system. It completely flooded the garage and everything in it. They promised that they had insurance it would have their adjuster get a hold of us immediately.
