I gave one star only because that is the minimum I would have given less if I could have tried to cancel my service with them 3 months in a row and they kept telling me it was canceled but they kept billing me then this last time with somebody who told me I was under a new contract and my contract had never changed the entire time that I had been with them very poor company to deal with and their customer service is non-existent
This company is taking advantage of people left and right. As it is evident by the terrible reviews posted and the one I am about to post. The unfairness and deceptiveness of their contract and the information provided by their representatives is uncanny. ADT screwed me over on my move. Told I would have the same set up as my last house. No way the wanted almost 2K to set my house up like my last place. They told me one thing and did another. Now I am told I cannot get out of my contract until **** or pay a prorated amount of *******. Thief and technical issues are done by the customer nit the company. They were never like this in the past but now it is anyway to cheat the client.
They are untrustworthy, misguiding,sends out bogus information, insist on making you pay for services that are not rendered, try to make you keep contracts from years ago with what they call verbal agreements with no signed contracts. After you cancel they make you keep services for another *********** have to disconnect the devices yourself. That oral contact I mentioned earlier, oh, you have to pay that too. I never thought after 24 years of service I would be lied to & treated that way
In the beginning of April I was going to transfer my service to my mothers in **************, but changed my mind and told them. But everytime I turn around they are changing what I owe for canceling it. I've talked to people there 8 times to get it straightened out. And was told it was fixed 7 times and I'm still getting a late due notice saying I owe the whole amount on the contract. I wish I never heard of this rip off company. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I am now looking into getting an attorney because I can't imagine what is being done to me is legal. I had a 3rd party come and sell me this amazing deal with ADT and promised I would have 2 cameras and an alarm system set for a good price. They even promised installation done the same day. Once they took my payment they said they were not able to complete it all on the same day. We were promised installation that same week on Saturday and NOBODY showed up.... read more
ADT supports the scams and fraud committed by ADTs Authorized Third Party Dealers.ADTs Fraud Team does not have a method to report fraud. They let you report forgery, a form of identity theft, but dont want to hear of fraud. The Fraud Team is also isolated to not have contact with the customer, so they can just assume any claim they receive is false.
The sales representative sold a bunch of lies:- Said multiple times that installation would take about 75 minutes. It took 210 minutes! That's **** hours more than expected. Because of this, my wife was more than 2 hours late to work on a day when her District and Regional directors were on her job site. - Sales rep sold me a package of security equipment that would completely guard my "perimeter", but the installer then said it was not completely guarded and tried to sell an additional package that would cost an additional ... read more
We moved put of ******** in March and my husband called asked your company to cancel any and all services going to ********************************************************************. I will not pay for services from March-June. I will pay the $297.03 for canceling the service the cancelation charge. I don't owe for 2 months of service we didn't have and I would never come back or recommend ADT Services to anyone
