ADT has BS equipment with constant failures that I've had to pay for... I have contact ADT for assistance replacing equipment that is under warranty but refuses to function... The doorbell with cam has been replaced 3 times with 1 yr, twice within that last 3 months of which the equipment was free but 60$ service charge to not fix the issue is bullcrap. Weve had ADT services for about 4 years now but the last year has been a nightmare! Our initial setup was fine and we were dealing with a local office. Fast forward to almost 8 months or so ago and I wanted to see about adding a keyless door pad and I ended up with a so called upgraded system thats been a nightmare! I have yet to receive a response from ADT. I canceled my service and was charged immediately for my equipment in the amount of $630. They are still wanting another $1200, for the service!
I am very dissapointed with ADT. I have had service on a off since ****, and only canceled it because of financial issues. In May 2022, I contacted them to see if I could reinstate my service at a lower cost. They offered me $29.99 including taxes for one year. When I got my **** for May 2022 it was $29.99, but when I got my **** for June 2022 it was $32.85. I contacted customer service and they said it was taxes. If thats the case, why wasnt taxes taken out of my June 2022 ****. They had no answer for me and made it very cl... read more
They tricked me into signing multiple contracts online stating they were not receiving the one the I agreed to.
The worst company there is and rip off. I reached as they called them and to purchase their service the sales person sold me a due to kids set blue I returned I returned it and still haven't gotten my money back and was told I have to pay the $49 shipping fee so they took $49 out of my refund. Their sales person tricked me to get a sale and commission. Told me I getting a installed security system. But send a home do it your self kit ? I have not got my money its near a month
We spoke with ADT to try to transfer my security system to my new home and they wanted to charge me lots of money.My system was pretty new so I didnt need new equipment. Plus my system was wireless. The only reason ADT wanted me to leave my new system in the old house and purchased new stuff for my new house was so they could get more money and more customers.At this point I dont want anything do to with them.
Horrible service very cheap equipment its really a total rip off and takes 14day to get a refund stay away from adt at all cost I feel taken advantage of
Wish I read the reviews first! This company will ROB you for all your money. They will increase rates..just because and I was told I would have to pay $1100 to cancel a service I have never used. And the equipment broke within the first few months of having it. That doesn't matter because they will charge you to have someone come out for their broken equipment that they install.
