I have been lied to by several ADT reps concerning my ****. Every time I get a different rep, I get different promise that turns into a new liar. This company is not honest and has no integrity. I dont appreciate doing business with liars. I have two accounts and have used their service for over 10 years at one address and almost 5 years at the other. I should write those ******** Brothers and have them read these complaints! I dont think they are aware of how untrustworthy ADT is.

I have been a customer for years. I sold my home which had an ADT alarm system. They advised that I could get an ADT ********************* and could transfer my contract. They ordered me a ********************* which I install in my new home. Today I got billed for over $700 from my old contract that I transferred to my new home. I was assured that if I stayed an ADT customer that the $700 would be deleted. I believed them but today i saw a charge in my credit card for the discontinued contract. We purchased plan , equipment and cameras from ADT 3 years ago .. We were paying ***** a month for the service which was more expensive that other systems. We have contacted them throughout the the past 3 years for various issues and each and every time got the run around. The billing department are at times very unprofessional and no one tells you the same thing. After our contract expired my husband contacted ADT to cancel our service due to decrease in our income. I have an alarm system with ADT. I have an error that says low battery and now a window error. Called and spoke to ******* today who was trying to help me troubleshoot but obviously dont know much. Request a technician to come out and ******* said it would be a $60. Charge just for a technician to come to my home. I am still under contact and ADT automatically takes my payment every month. I cant even use my alarm system. It cant be activated because of the error. It was obvious ******* ***** care if my family is safe or not... read more

Calling their customer service is horrible, you wait on the phone over ***** minutes depending on when you wind up hanging up because you ****** for waiting for a rep. Im just trying to fix my video doorbell camera and I did everything I could before calling them. Finally got a hold of someone then got cut off, but they call me back. Just trying to get help is frustrating. Dont get ADT is my two cents. I will not renew after contract is completed.

This system has caused me more sleepless nights in the 3 months I've had it. The adhesive plastic pieces keep falling off the door and my dog eats them and gets sick. The wifi connection to this system is not good. I just want to cancel within my first 6 months and they want to charge me over a thousand dollars for a service and products that are not conducive in my home.

This Company does not care about customer service. We have been a customer for 9 years. Last August 29, 2021, we had our barn broke into (this barn/garage is a metal two story building). Our whole house and the said building were alarmed at the time of the break in. Our alarms never went off and our truck was damaged when they tried to steal it. Well 6/14/22 I called the ADT rep and she came out to speak with us, she was so sweet! She never went into any major details. We paid the $105.00 dollars they asked for, set up the time for the system to be installed the Tech/ thief came in and installed the system and and sensors, that day well he never showed my spouse how to use the system.
