I finally gave in to the salesmen that returned to my home multiple times, that was a huge mistake.The equipment that was installed was not what I was promised. The camera in the back was screwed into my siding and had a wire running down the back of my house to my outdoor outlet. The "glass break" sensors were never delivered, the motion light that was installed was a crappy battery operated light again screwed into my siding. Ive had nothing but bad experiences with ADT. The cameras need to be reset daily, the app takes a few minutes to load live video and even then, the live video times out every few seconds. You set up recording rules but they dont work. We called numerous times and its always the same answer, just reboot the system. Works for a couple hours then its c*** again. You can't get service. Once it's installed . Don't think you will get some one on phone to schedule an appointment. It takes an act from Congress. *********** service department is the worst
If I could give ADT -1 stars I would. I will never use ADT again. I should have know that there would be issues when I initially requested ADT and the technician couldnt get the indoor camera to work, but I decided to continue my service against my better judgment. I am trying to cancel the service because I am moving but they make the process so difficult! No Stars!!!! Inferior product!I have the system in my home now 4 months. I activated the alarm system once. I own all of the equipment installed (paid in full at the time of the sale) and I am seeking all the packaging for all of the ADT devices. ADT is not allowing me the packaging. Front door can be opened without the alarm having a notification to the panel's alarm (seems like this should have been verified). Window alarm can also be bypassed. I am seeking termination of the contract with some foolish penalty.
I have been an ADT customer service for many years. After having ADT years for approximately 8 years and needing help is a disaster. A 45-minute wait to speak with a customer service representative for not just one phone call. I got to frustrated and hung up on my second and third time. Another ****-minute wait for a chat person. This person told me the reason why the "Panel Cover Template removed" was due to me NOT waiting 60 seconds before putting in the replacement batteries. This is the absolute worst company for home security. We have never had reliable service with our cameras and have spent countless days on hold with customer service and/or having technicians attend at our home to swap out equipment. We tried without success to get out of our 3-year contract because we have held up our end of the contract in good faith but ADT has not. They have refused to upgrade or fix our system at their expense and wanted us to pay out the balance of the contract to be rid of them. The last customer serv... read more
Installer forgot to install the main door sensor coming in from Garage, customer service was worst ever. Had to pay additional for the sensor for no fault of ours( only issue from our end was we did not notify the installer issue within 3 days due to a major health issue and then being out of country) This is to fix basic installation issue that is key to any security, it's not even a miss on any window but key door and we are stuck now as we have to pay around $3500 to get out of the contract.
