After being a loyal customer for 8 years I needed to cancel my service. Was told had to be cancelled by phone. After being on hold for over 25 minutes and transferred to the wrong departments 4 times my call was disconnected. That's the kind of service you can expect from ADT.

ADT is a modern day version of scam artists. I bought a new home that had an old ADT system in it. It would randomly go off every 5 hours... even at night. When I called they said it's not their problem.... and that I'd have to pay $250 for them to come out and disconnect THERE SYSTEM.Nothing but thieves who don't care about a person if they aren't a current customer.

Let me first say that I have been a LOYAL customer with ********************** for over 15 years. They are NOT the same company and NO ONE IN AUTHORITY CARES. ADT stole money from my credit card by taking a payment for an account that I was not responsible for the payment. They did this a total of 4X's and would only refunding 2 unauthorized deductions from my credit card. My credit card was on file only to pay for the service I contracted them to provide. The representative informed me after having ADT in my home for months that he could setup my son an account separated from mine. This was not true. He setup the account in my name but my son's address and when my son was late paying his **** ADT took monies from my account for his ****. I called so so so many times to get them to straighten out the accounts, but this was never done. Ater being told over and over again that he was going to fix it. After being a customer for over 15 years I was encouraged by my local ADT rep that an upgrade to system would afford me the additional security monitoring we were seeking. After a year with the upgrade to the Control platform the past three months have been nightmarish. We have had six service calls for the system restarting on its own and disconnecting itself from out wi-fi. Equipment has been changed out, moved and reconfigured. ADT used to be a well run, responsive company. Now they only want to sell door bells and make sales. They no longer care about the customers. I waited 6 hours for a rep to arrive at my house. It takes weeks to get an appointment. Stay away from them.

Not Deaf friendly, I am not a customer I tried to be multiple times unfortunately there was a promotion going around for $45 a month included with the panel two smart cameras and the doorbell and of course access to the app unfortunately I am latedeaf individual who is hearing in the military unfortunately the *** representative went above and beyond the call of duty and acted like he was my medical provider and made assumptions about me based on his limited knowledge about what Deaf is I lost my hearing in the military so I... read more

If I can give a zero star for ADT I will, I purchased this service contract hoping to get a good security service, it's horrible one must continue charging the camera, when I called the representative always try selling another gadget like the solar panel which is suppose to help keep the camera charge. Don't get caught up with them constantly trying to sell you different equipment the goal is to lock you in the contract which is only 30 days and every time you change for a better equipment your contract starts all over agai... read more

This company is awful. They bait and switched us when we called to cancel our contract after 3 years because we felt we weren't getting the value from the system. My husband and I spent over an hour on the phone with them and only after a lot of concessions on their part agreed to continue for a 6 month term at ***** with them coming out to fix our system and add more glass break to the house.
