I was offered 2 months free as a new customer. Later denied
I have had a security system for barely 2 months. For 3.5 weeks of that, it has not been functional. I have already had to have the sensors replaced on one door and now the cameras are off line. Safe haven was the install company and between them and ADT they keep ping ponging back and forth blaming each other. I asked for a service call for two weeks before I was able to actually speak to someone. They breached the contract by not being available 24/7 as promised and not servicing the equipment, but refuse to cancel or come... read more
Service has not worked in over a year. We have tried multiple times to have a technician come out, impossible to have one come when we are available. We tried cancelling and waited on hold for over three hours. Someone would answer, find out that we were cancelling, and put us on a "brief" hold. We finally got through, and they said we had to have a verbal code to proceed. We didn't know it off top of our heads, so they said they would mail it to us! I got bamboozled into upgrading my alarming system after what I originally asked for couldn't be done because the information given to me was incorrect..I even paid a $100 down pymt (which I still have NOT been refunded back for that either) so while they were there that's when they explained to me about the upgrade.(thus happen in mid July btw).. Ordered ADT service and installation of equipment on July 30 and in the contract signed it states if we want to cancel services, we have until August 3rd for a full refund on equipment. Cancelled service on August 2nd. No one has came to pick up equipment yet and today is August 13. Been getting the run around for 2 weeks. Also received a **** in the mailbox for $700!!! The service sucks! The customer service sucks!! I would never recommend ADT security to anyone!!!
Horrible company, they keep you on the phone for 1.5 hrs if you want to cancel.
I was $480 past due on my account. I paid $280 in July and told them I would pay the rest next month when I got paid. I received a collections amount for $4177. I am so upset. Especially because I literally just paid them $280 two weeks ago! This is not the way business should be done! I am in complete shock that someone would send you to collections right after you paid them almost $300!
I recently closed May ************************************************************************************** to someone at ADT but after calling ADT to report the problem, the guy was in my house for over 7 hours installation incomplete the sale rep and the installer argue concerning who getting paid for the job come to find out the company name is safehaven.
