Equipment does not work and cannot get anyone to help me with issue. It should not have been installed because my wifi can't support it. Refuse to cancel contract and expects me to pay for breach of contract if canceled when I have no control over the wifi. Was transfered to several people and hung up on 7 different times. I spent 4 hours on the phone to finally get told that they will not make this right.

I open my account 3 years ago and when it comes to customer service it suffers badly. My business close down because COVID and simply wanted to cancel our service, but in no way were they going to do that. In one call alone I was transferred 3 times. That last was an experience I never want have again. In the second call I was transferred immediately and waited eternally and after 3 years I realice the open 2 accounts for me in the same address! If I could give negative stars, I would. Over the past three days I have spent about 6+ hours on the phone with ADT. I called ADT inquiring about their cameras. The first person I spoke with gave me the wrong quote, told me there would be no contract. The second person did not give me any additional information. When the tech came he told me to sign the three year contract. I was on the phone with ADT for four hours trying to speak to a live person. Finally, I was told there would be a three year contract. We started with Protection One then ADT bought them out. I avoided ADT, prior to this acquisition on purpose, but there they came. We gutted it out for the remainder of our 10 years in our previous building then moved.Prior to moving I spoke to an ADT rep and let them know we were moving and that we were switching security services. The rep went on to say ok but you will be billed for an additional 2 months, even though we vacated the building. By far the worst customer service I have ever came a cross. When calling the 800 number, it prompts you to go through the appropriate department and when you do you are guaranteed to be waiting for the next 45 to 60 minutes, if you are lucky enough they will not hang up on you. For the past 3 weeks I have been on the phone for minimum 12 hours and as of now my issue has not been solved. I thought that I was an ADT customer with Alarm monitoring for Police and Fire alerts? On or about August 6th of this month, I received the notification about 1 week after 8/06/2022, later in which ADT notified me of a problem with monitoring the Alarm system with the ************************* ADT informed me that they would monitor my system but would not be able to ask the police for assistance if the alarm were to be activated? Unethical practice to continue to collect monthly billing when service has not been connected to their system for YEARS. No outreach to me to check why and when I did call to cancel 50 minutes of various hold time being transferred from one unit to the other. And still charged another month to meet their 30day cancel. Geez

The smoke detector that was installed was not working and we called to have someone come out to replace and when the tech called he said we would be charged $59.00 for him to come out and if we weren't happy with that charge we could cancel and call about it so we did but then I just looked on my bank account today and instead of being charged my regular monthly charged they have also charged my the $59.00 fee even thought no tech ever came to my home and when I called them about it they said I would still have to pay the $5... read more

Safehaven tried to snowball us into this mess. The company has predatory business practices. Does NOT explain anything, didn't show us how to use system besides "Swipe here here and here, call this #". He was in such a rush he SAID SO so he had no time to show the system. I've been trying to get someone to cancel the service and have spoken to well over 10 ppl. Placed on innumerable holds. DO NOT USE.
