You are on hold for more than a min and they have techs that cant resolve your problems and the wont put a supervisor on the line or send anyone to your home. They threaten you with it cost extra to send someone and when you agree to that after speaking with someone who said they wont charge you they tell you that oh it doesnt require us to send someone out.
Would leave 0/5 stars if possible. We got ADT when we moved to the area. We signed a 3 year contract at what we thought was a really good deal. We were on auto draft. They sent us 3 overdue bills. They made the error and we called 3 times to get it fixed. The doorbell camera never works. We have had 2 technicians come out and never resolves the issue. We have tried to cancel 3 times and get put on an unending hold or a response that someone will call us back and they never do.
ADT is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. The customer service sucks and 4 different customer service reps gave us wrong information so we would end up paying more to transfer services to not have to pay off equipment all at once. To be told by last person we could've taken equipment and the 4 other people were wrong. They ripped off my family and their services aren't even worth a phone call asking about. One of the worst companies around. I live in *******, and for years I have had service with a local security monitoring firm. ADT recently bought that firm. When ADT subsequently billed me for their services, I called their 855 number to cancel, as they do not permit online cancellations. I never subscribed to ADT and do not wish to. They kept me on the phone for 58:36, transferring me through 8 different customer service centers before I finally pleaded with someone to end my service with ADT. Used to be a great company. We've used them residential and commercial for decades. Now they suck! Monitoring is worthless. Even when using the emergency contact, I get dumped on hold forever after a lengthy and complicated phone tree. I've been trying to cancel their EXPENSIVE monitoring for days, and they never pick up again after putting you on hold. We've been trying to cancel our account for weeks. You can't cancel online. You must call. But when you call and say the purpose is to cancel your account, they put you on a continuous hold. The one time they actually answered, they were using a phone that you couldn't understand a word that they said and then they hung-up. It's almost like a scam. If they don't answer the phone, you can't ever cancel your account. I strongly recommend going with someone else.
I have been waiting 8 months for home to be fixed.. the sister company safe haven has draperies my home installed product wrong and still till today u call adt used to be every 4 days know once every couple weeks I have been told on. Million times someone would help me NOT one response no matter how bad my situation..I am disabled veteran I have brought these two companies to my counselor sessions that's how bad I am being treated please I am begging for results.. this is killing me mind body and soul..
Money was fraudulently taking out my ACH Checking account without my consent of service that was waived and never question how was the payment be made I noticed of $255.00 was taking out of bank account 9/6/22 and how they hacked into my information without telling and a receipt that wasn't made all it said was through my payments that was save when paying my bills online which I am not using autopay I paid when needed never thought they are looking into my information and would take my hard earn money without my knowledge a... read more

Very bad costumer service Spend 2 to 4 hours multiple times Tried to cancel my account with no responses I have no service or contract with ADT any more for 4 months ago but still received behind monthly bills By multiple emails and mail letters Very poor costumer service Never recommended ADT to anyone else
