I moved from *********, ** to ******, ** last August 10. I called ADT to cancel the service as of August 10. Unfortunately I did not confirm the cancellation nor the service person's name whom I talked to cancel. ADT did not cancel their service at my ** address, instead let the relocation personnel in ** know my move. I got a number of calls from ** ADT personnel for new service in ** but I decided to go with other company. ADT LIED TO MY WIFE ABOUT A 6 MONTH CANCELLATION TO SALE THEIR SERVICE. AFTER REALIZING WE RECEIVED ALL ****** EQUIPEMENT, WE REALIZED THAT WE HAD BEEN GOUGED BY PRICES AND LIED TO ABOUT THE CANCELLATION POLICY. IT IS AMAZING HOW EVERYONE IS TRAINED TO SELL A LIE BUT NOT TRAINED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE. THE YOUNG LADY IN THE CANCELLATION **** WAS TRAINED SO WELL, HER RESPONSE WAS" ITS BEEN LONGER THAN 3 DAYS, TO LATE (THEN SHE LAUGHED) AND SAID UNLESS YOU PAY THE $2,000 WE GOTCHA!! I hate to even give this company 1 Star! It is totally a scam! I have cameras in the box that was not installed, cant reach anyone to get appointments or to explain why they have not returned to put up my cameras. Paid $250 for a installed outside camera, never got installed.Now they want another $114.00!!!! For what? They have my credit card number for my monthly bill. So now I am looking at cutting of my credit Card so they cannot keep charging me for services I do not have!Don't believe those pretty commercials and be sca... read more

I was a ******** security customer ********************** bought ******** my cameras somehow got off line I called adt they sent out a tec that tried to charge me 100 than *********************** back Im paying monthly for a service that I can not use but adt keep taking a monthly fee for something I can use

I have been with ADT for 31 years. I updated my system 7/22. I returned 1 camera and 2 key fobs which were picked up by an ADT TECH. I have called 4 times since July, about my refund of $350.00 each time stating dont you will get it now. I was told after the last call to wait 72 hours for a call. This the day after the 72 hours were up and still nothing. Then today, I had questions on how to get alerts to my phone caused by a motion detection from my camera. The worst! They over charged my account over 350$ then took months to return it (still havent received it) and I was told by the representative that my attitude was horrible ( well of course!) then in order to cancel your services with them due to their neglect they want to charge you 75% of your remaining balance. So if you are like me two months in under the 3 year contract they have you apply for you are stuck! The worse service ever and Ive been placed on hold waiting for a manager for the past 30 minutes now RIDICULOUS

I had never in my life experienced such unbusinesslike handling of customers requests like with ADT SECURITY SYSTEMS. I am very disappointed, frustrating, angry, and disrespectful. The sales manager ***** came over to my business offer me a security services protection. Saying the to try it for 30 days if dont like it or happy with the services to cancelled with not issues. I have had an on-going problem with my sensor for years. I had the same sensor replaced twice and then moved to a different location in same area, then replaced again. I am so sad that ADT will not finally resolve this issue instead they keep offering me a new upgraded system for an additional cost. This senior citizen is at a lost and dont know what to do except have them come out again to service or replace the sensor. Finally, I believe that this problem was created intentionally.
