Ever since getting the doorbell camera, I have had issues with the doorbell not working and the camera not working. Along adt and having to pay to get someone to trouble shoot and then pay to get another doorbell camera. A few months later getting black and white videos to not more live videos to now doorbell no longer connecting. Whats the point of paying for service to feel secure and its constantly not working
ADT provides NO service anymore. They don't answer the phone. Don't be fooled by good reviews that is ADT of the past. They charge for service calls and I don't know of many businesses that charge for problems with their equipments. Two days ago I had a technician come out and he didn't fix the problem it started up again today. I was going to leave due to the excessively poor service but they bribed me into staying by lowering the price but I was a fool and locked myself into a 5 year contract. They deactivated my business alarm without noticed or warnings.My retail business has been unprotected for almost 2 week without any notice and warning.When I found out, I made a payment immediately for which I had disputed previously. After that I made dozens of calls, and spent over 7 hours on the phone, my business alarm is still deactivated. This is unacceptable. I am defiantly going to switch all my accounts from ADT to another provider asap.
WORST company!! We agreed to minimum equipment when installer came. He asked if we wanted additional equipment, we said no. We also said to put the monthly bill on our debit card and that the equipment we had installed was no charge. After a month we noticed we got a new *********** credit card in the mail. With the card was a bill for $1300 for equipment we don't have and don't want. ADT refuses to call back and work with us. They won't even come out to inventory the equipment we have. ADT will not fix or replace their equipment. We sterted a new contract, a packaged deal with Centurylink. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren livein teh same house. We needed a faster internet service to start the year 2020. The Veteran Navy officer, my mom started the contract with ADT. I have two locations by them. One is a home and the other is a business. The business has been monitored by them for less than a year. Their equipment is trash. Their service is the worst. i made more than 6 phone calls and I kept getting disconnected. Two of the calls I was disoneected from the conversation and they never call back. This company is one of those of with bad business practices. For years I have been paying for something called "quality service plan". For years the system hasn't need any maintenance so no service has been needed at all. This week I called asking for service. After troubleshooting over the phone a tech service was dispatched for today and no costs were referred to me, not even for the labor hours and I actually referred the plan I was paying for to the person over the phone. I used to love Protection 1. Have had them monitor my alarm for over 24 years. Now that ADT is involved customer service has seriously gone downhill. I called to ask what I thought was a simple question today. All totaled I spent 2 hours on the phone, was transferred at least 5-6 times and never got what I considered a confident answer. As a result I asked for a tech to come out and check the system. I plan on doing that every time I have an issue from now on because I dont trust customer service. ADT has the worst customer service and they DO NOT stand behind their equipment, installation, or service!!! I highly recommend any that is looking for security equipment look to some real professional company ADT is NOT the one!!!
