I attempted to cancel ADT services after finally ending my contract with ADT. I called multiple times to talk to their customer service team but have yet to get a hold of someone even after 30+ minutes on hold. I tested a theory and called their new customer line, and they picked up the phone so quickly it was incredible. I then explained to the customer service rep that I would like to cancel my account but that I was having a hard time talking to an actual person, and then I got placed on hold again. Unbelievable. I did everything I was supposed to to cancel my service with them and heard nothing for a few years now all of a sudden I am being harassed and threatened by some third party group for money

Sold my house been trying to get the service cancelled for months. Paid over $2000 to have equipment installed. **************** ***** cant reach anyone, Would have service transfered to my new house but after this fisaco that will never happen. Need to reach someone so I can get the billing to stop asap.

I had ADT services installed in my home just six months ago. During this time, I have made multiple calls to their customer service line, which has always had about a 2-hour wait time. Once they return your call, the representative is not knowledgeable of the system and unable to assist. When you ask about a tech coming out, it's nearly a $200.00 charge. Why would a new system have a product that does not hold a charge and is constantly out of order? ADT finally agreed to send out a tech at no charge. When the tech arrived, ... read more

Horrible horrible thats why the do a contract to keep you in a crappy service!!!! They promise you the moon and give you a worthless guarantee. Completely unsatisfied as the could not install a camera in the system and then said it was our fault. They are the biggest joke!!! My longest hold time was 2hours and 45 minutes just to get hung up on. This hanging up on isnt a one time deal either. I have been hung up on 5 times and after long times on hold. Do yourself a favor!!!!! Find someone else. ADT is worthless!!!!

I want to terminate my ADT residential security service but it is impossible to get in touch with anyone at ADT to deliver this request! I have spent the last 3 HOURS trying to cancel my service and I have been hung up on and disconnected FOUR TIMES!! The customer service with ********************** is the worst I've ever had to deal with and I am done. I am ready to go back to my old security service b/c their customer service is stellar and bonus, they are cheaper!

Because they didn't respect the contract of $57 rate I have been trying to cancel my account 5 days in a row during more than 5 hours of "hold" time of ADT marketing or barren discussions. All my attempts were in vain. On the 5th day we agreed for a new contract of a lower rate . After one week I didn't receive yet the new contract whatever by email or by mail (I received the previous contract next day). I signed up for Adt service back in 2018 initially. They quoted a price that was within my budget. I agreed to their terms for 3 years. After three years of service, I upgraded to a new system for the mobile device. At the time, my house phone wasn't in service. The salesman informed me he could upgrade us with a panel with a camera. I agreed with the upgrade. When the technician arrived, he brought the incorrect panel. The panel was not what was promised. No camera was included with the panel. A Customer since 2012 and have been deceived to the fullest.10/18/22 - set up appt for installation of system upgrade.We accepted a 3 pay of $198.58 for 3 months total $595.74, with the 1st payment due on day of installation.
