Unfortunately my step mother passed away in January 2020. We had no idea that she had an account with Ackerman Security. She had been with another company. Upon realizing that she had an account we called to cancel only to be told that she had a $2,400 balance to buy out her 5 year contract that was just renewed in 2019. Very sad that death is not even a good enough reason to not be held in breach of contract... Please do not do business with this company. Despicable.

I had several issues with my aged home security system and the costs.
