New Furnace Had a no heat situation during the coldest week just after Christmas. Called around for quotes. The cheapest quote was someone who came over and wrote the price on a brochure. Actually he simply said the number, I wrote it down. A1 came and gave me a thorough walkthru of the process c/w written detailed quote with attention to detail. New Furnace Installation 21 year old furnace died on one of coldest days in early 2015. We had A1's Supercare Protection Plan (highly recommended). They came within 1.5 hours of my call. Diagnosis was dead heat exchanger (and CO present), so gas turned off & new furnace needed. Sales came out early afternoon. They gave us 2 portable heaters to help get through the night and came at 7:45 AM next morning to install new furnace. Staff were nice and kept our house clean. AC Repair Called A1 as they had supplied the unit in 1999. A mechanic was at my home within 2 hours in the middle of a hear wave. 15 minutes to diagnose, out to truck to check for parts. Had the part (fan control board had blown), installed and AC running within an hour. Polite, professional, thoroughly impressed. Checked the cost of part online, and thought A1 price was fair with taxes and installation cost. Not to mention,of course,immediate delivery :). New Air Conditioner Service technican came promptly to access the problem. Our air conditioner was 17 years old and they recommended fixing it would be too costly with no warranty. We agreed to have the salesman come (he was there quickly) and made 3 detailed recommendations. He was extremely thorough and we purchased the new air conditioner and it was installed within a week. Furnace Repair I tried to turn the heat on last week but the furnace would not start. The air conditioner was working fine so that really blew my mind. I called A1 and they came the same day. Turns out that a bird had built a nest in the exhaust and caused the h=whole furnace to shut down. He diagnosed it fast and even replaced my filter or me. I thought the price was cheap too. These guys are fast and honest. pretty hard to find these days.

New A/C, Furnace and Water hearter Dispatch #58935. I called A1 after speaking a other companies and Gord came over next day on a Sunday. He took his time explaining the entire process to us and what they would do, something that others didn't. A few days later Perry (installer/technician) came by on time and was extremely professional.
