Air conditioning inspection I had A1 come to our home for an a/c inspection. After some apparent confusion and a discussion with Peter , the owner ,we were able to sort things out. New AC In May, our AC failed and I called the service company with whom we had a contract. They could not respond for two days in the middle of a heat wave. I needed a new AC and A-1 was able to install the next day. They were personable, fast and reasonable. I would recommend their service to anyone.

Hot Water Heater We can't say enough about A1 Air Conditioning. We established a service contract for our furnace and a/c when we moved in over 20 yrs ago, had service twice a year. They kept the old thing going for years and years. We finally bought a new furnace and air conditioner through them in 2008. Yesterday our rental h/w heater died. Furnace Servicing Booking and confirming the appointment to get my furnace cleaned was easy. The technician was prompt and the cleaning was done quickly and thoroughly; however, when I asked about my humidifier hose that was leaking (all it needed was to be realigned), he told me he would have to charge extra to redo the whole thing. When I suggested it just needed some force to fix it, he seemed unimpressed and defensive about it, but he ended up doing it -- and no more leaks. Other than that, I'd use A1 again next year.
Replace A/C Have had a service contract for many years, which is good for regular maintenance but also when we really need help, A-! puts us at the top of the list. Repairmen would comment annually that our A/C was old but still working, don't replace until you need to. Finally after 25 years, we needed to replace! Called at 0800 during a hot Monday, Jeff came at 1000, checked things out, explained three options and the rebate program, and we had the unit replaced, excellent, clean job, the next day. New heating and air We were very satisfied with this company until we received an unsolicited invoice for wrrantee service one year later. Salesperson Jeff was prompt and professional. We obtained three estimates and his was lowest. The installers were prompt, efficient and left the area clean. I did require two additional calls to straighten the air conditioner. New furnace, hrv, thermostat, etc From our initial phone call requesting information through to the installation of our new equipment A1 has delivered everything that was promised and then some. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable not only about the products but also the mfg rebates and the govt rebates available. He answered all of my questions and never once made me feel foolish.
