Stray FAR FAR away from this company! I had a service request for repair of my AC [1st time using American Home Shield) on July 14th. They came and added refrigerant. Two weeks later, my AC wasn't cooling again. I called A US and on both scheduled appointments - they said they were here, but no one showed up! Twice this week! Unfortunately, this company was assigned to me through AHS for A/C work. I received a phone call at 8 P.M. the day before my appointment from the technician informing me that he would be there anywhere from 11 A.M -1 P.M. the next day to troubleshoot my A/C. I took half a day off work to ensure that I could be there and arrived at my home at 11:05, five minutes late because I live thirty minutes from work and traffic is unpredictable. Have been attempting to resolve a broken A/C in the middle of summer. Called AHS to send out technician who spent less than 30 min after I told him I suspected the A/C Evap Coil was faulty. He technician from A-US A/C of Texas wrote in invoice the "customer wants to replace the coil". AHS "approved" the repair and I received a call from the Installation department. If you found this review due to AHS assigning this company to service your AC. Beware this company is poorly ran. Our experience has been a nightmare. Their dispatch deliberately canceled my order to make it harder for me to get service through AHS. I finally got A-US Air on the phone at the same time and AHS, and AHS saw how A-US Air was treating me and are now looking for another vendor. If you are here because your just researching them... OMG Keep looking, trust me it can not get any worse than this place.

A-US Air Conditioning of Texas was assigned by my home warranty company for a seasonal check of my A/C systems, since one had standing water in the condensation pan. It was determined that one system was 3 lbs. low on refrigerant. I had to request another work order for the refrigerant since it is not included in the service contract. Once obtained I gave the additional number to the technician. Following the visit the system was not cooling the 2nd floor. I only put one star because it wouldn't let me do no stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! American Home Shield assigned them to fix my leaking AC. They showed up the first time in a reasonable time frame. However, even though I have this exact same problem almost every year and I know what needs to be done to resolve it I'm "not a technician" so they know better than I do what needs to be fixed. or so they say. All they did was move the leak from one location to another because they ignored me when I told them what the issue was.... read more

Do not use this company. I have placed a call through my home warranty for my AC unit to be fixed on sunday. This company sent Israel L**** "technician" to see what is going on and to repair. He arrived and initially said he cannot test if there is a leak as we were losing freon, because it was raining....it was not raining, it was sprinkling and testing has nothing to do with that. This company is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. Super unprofessional and can't keep their story straight. We bought a house a few months ago and ac unit was suppose to be covered under American Home Shield. A-US is apparently the only contractor they can do business with. They have zero communication skills. The first time the tech, Rob, showed up late and just looked up our vents with a flashlight. American home Shield gave us this company to fix our AC Handler. They came on the 9th of April 2021 and ripped out the old Air Handler. About 34 days after the work, my tenant called to notify me that the ceiling which was located directly under the air handler was leaking (I have hard wood floors). Called American Home Shield and asked to speak to a supervisor, they told me to call the Air Handler Manufacture as it was under warranty. Haven't got a call yet from American Home Shield.
