A-US Air Conditioning of Texas was assigned by my home warranty company for a seasonal check of my A/C systems, since one had standing water in the condensation pan. It was determined that one system was 3 lbs. low on refrigerant. I had to request another work order for the refrigerant since it is not included in the service contract. I only put one star because it wouldn't let me do no stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! American Home Shield assigned them to fix my leaking AC. They showed up the first time in a reasonable time frame. However, even though I have this exact same problem almost every year and I know what needs to be done to resolve it I'm "not a technician" so they know better than I do what needs to be fixed. or so they say. Do not use this company. I have placed a call through my home warranty for my AC unit to be fixed on sunday. This company sent Israel L**** "technician" to see what is going on and to repair. He arrived and initially said he cannot test if there is a leak as we were losing freon, because it was raining....it was not raining, it was sprinkling and testing has nothing to do with that. This company is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. Super unprofessional and can't keep their story straight. We bought a house a few months ago and ac unit was suppose to be covered under American Home Shield. A-US is apparently the only contractor they can do business with. They have zero communication skills. The first time the tech, Rob, showed up late and just looked up our vents with a flashlight. American home Shield gave us this company to fix our AC Handler. They came on the 9th of April 2021 and ripped out the old Air Handler. About 34 days after the work, my tenant called to notify me that the ceiling which was located directly under the air handler was leaking (I have hard wood floors). Called American Home Shield and asked to speak to a supervisor, they told me to call the Air Handler Manufacture as it was under warranty. Haven't got a call yet from American Home Shield. Before Easter we were given an appointment for Monday, April 5th we were referred via our home warranty American Home Shield. We waited all day Monday, we called 2-3 times and nobody showed up!! I left 3 voicemails this morning before they opened. They claimed we did not have an appointment then claimed the installer spoke to my husband and cancelled??? Not true!! Our AC unit is not working. I was referred to this company by my home warranty to repair our heater.this business do not answer the telephone nor return a call. finally they text me that they show up on tuesday after waiting 2 days for the service. then they postponed it to Wednesday, then Thursday.I had to call my home warranty and request for another contractor. This job not was performed as I had instructed. This is what I mentioned what the issue was before someone went out there from A US Air-conditioning. I sent an email detailing this before someone went out there. I will be requesting a refund from AHS because this job was NOT performed. I had 3 other professionals come a week before A US Air-conditioning came to take a look at the system and they all mentioned the issues I have listed below. "Only 1 room has limited airflow. I would give this company zero stars if possible. Every person I interacted with was either rude, dismissive, or had zero interest in helping to repair our system. Their wait times are long and I've spent hours going back and forth with them even though my home warranty has approved the repair. I would recommend staying far away from this company! If AHS assigns them to you request a different service company. Not worth the time and effort it will take you to simply get them to answer the phone.
