Had an appointment scheduled today, they would not give me a timeframe. Been waiting around all day just to get a call at 2:30 and say the technician can't make it out and I'd have to be on on call wait tomorrow. Pathetic and unprofessional not to provide a time and if their technician couldn't make it out as promised after waiting all day today they should have gotten another technician to come out in this 100 degree weather !
This company is not worth calling. They came out to fix my AC, said it needed coolant. I paid to have the coolant added, and it lasted less than 24 hrs. But when trying to get in touch with them they never answer the phone. I have been on hold for over 20 min with them and still no person. I called emergency number, same problem. do not use them!
I called my home warranty about A/C not blowing cold. 3 days later A US AIR come to look at A/C lucky I already had another A/C company come next day & put 2lbs of R22 in due to leak in coil. US AIR verifies coil needs to be replaced but they tell me my cost would be $1400.00 not covered by home warranty. They give me estimate it has $275.00 for city permit that doesn't exist due to only need permit if replacing furnace or water heater is what city inspector tell me when I call. As all of the people below me stated this company probably gives the worst service In the world. After trying to reach them for 40 minutes this morning a representative named Samantha called me back to schedule the service request appointment. During our talk I have explained her that I have a baby and a pregnant wife and that I can't stay to long without working AC when its 100F outside. This is by far the worst company to hire for your A/C repair!
We ended up with approximately $13,700 in damages to the interior of our home from this company. Our home warranty company sent them out to work on our air conditioning unit, which was no longer cooling our home. On their initial visit, they replaced coolant. Within a short period of time (approximately a month or so), our system had the same problem so we filed another claim. The technician came out again and found that the unit was low on coolant. SPOKE WITH MS. ******* AND ADVISED WE ARE NOT LIABLE/RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BROKEN PVC 90 DEGREE ELBOW UNDER HER UPFLOW AHU PLATFORM. WE DID NOT DO ANY WORK BELOW THE PLATFORM MERELY RECONNECTED THE NE UNITS DRAIN LINE TO THE EXISTING PIPE PROTRUDING THRU THE PLATFORM. SHE STATED SHE DOESN'T WANT ANY PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY FROM THE INSTALL. SHE HAS USED HER HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE TO PAY FOR WATER DAMAGES SHE INCURRED. SCAMMERS!!! Beware if American Home Shield sends these people out to fix or replace anything. They will only back up their work for 90 days. They installed a non working unit. Not working again and both American Home Shield and A-US Air are refusing to help.
